outdoors? kinda defeats the point. ideal lights are 18/6 or 24/0.
i know, but some autos are made for outdoors !!. and no it doesnt defeat the point cause i dont have to wait till a sertent day to plant, i can grow all year round, the flower regardless of light cycle which is a big plus outdoors in the city/rural with road lights ect... around !!!!

""" ideal lights are 18/6 or 24/0 """ what about that dude who grew a 1.5m mi5 outdoors ?? what bout the new super cali haze, that its hight is based on outdoor growth ??-

Type: Auto flowering sativa hybrid
Height: 40-90” | 100-225cm outdoors
Harvest: 100-120 days from seed
Yield: 110-250g | 4-9oz per plant
Effect: Soaring Sativa high
Potency: 10/10

cheers dude !!

I disagree. I think outdoors is the best application for autos IMO. I did two cycles of them this summer. The first was only one plant but it finished by the 4th of July. I think you are right about the light cycles though. My late summer grow the light was something like 14/10 in August/Sept and the yields were a lot smaller than I expected. I think if I tweek my system just a little and maybe find a better outdoor spot, I can significantly increase yield next year, but I still don't think it will be as much as indoor under HPS. The thing is, my Easy Ryders went almost 10 weeks. I figure indoors I can run a regular strain, let it veg for like 3 weeks, and depending on the strain it will finish in about the same time as a 10 week auto strain, but with a much bigger yield.

Here are a few pics of my outdoor Easy Ryder (Low Ryder 2 x Auto AK-47) about a week or two before harvest. I started indoors in party cups for about 3 weeks (until they showed sex) under lights then I transplanted to 2 gallon buckets of promix before taking them outside.

I only pulled about 1.5 oz off the 3 plants combined. Was shooting for at least 2 oz total.

Hi all auto growers !!

I was going to be doing a big outdoor grow with normal strains but the plans have changed !!!

Hopefully soon i will be purchasing some auto strains, and this is were you can help me !!! - What auto strain should i purchase ( preferably reg seeds ) that i can grow OUTDOORS as i do not have a indoor setup ! ( outdoor light cycle atm is about 14/10 light ) so what strain could i grow outdoors and still yield 1oz or 2 of a plant ??
^^^^ seeds from attitude.
Any pics of outdoor autos ??

and i herd mi5 is good strain and will grow some super cali haze next grow but want to start with some easier, faster strains ?:leaf:

^^^ im a nubie to autos !!

Cheers Guys

Easy Ryder was pretty easy to grow and the smoke was great, but I don't know if I'd grow it again. 10/11 (as stated in the packet the beans came in) weeks is too long for me for an auto strain I think unless it pays off in the end with big yields. Granted, I grew in the woods in the late summer in a spot where my light was partially obstructed. They got the full mid day sun, but I'd say they lost at least 2 hours in the morning and maybe 2 hours of light in the evening because of trees. The strain definitely has the potential to do a lot better than what I did though. Attitude actually has is listed wrong. They say "7 weeks from seed" when in actuality thats just the flowering time. I emailed them about it but they still haven't changed it. That was half the reason I bought the strain to begin with because I thought they would finish in 7-8 weeks.

thanks for the info !!! yeah they state wrong stuff all the time !! Here is a link to look at - it has every single autoflower on the market to date and it is very accurate. LINK CLICK HERE

all the super autos 110 days/ 15 weeks from seed to cut is a bit long but still shorter than reg strains outdoors , and also they state that they can yeild 4-9 oz outdoors and reach heights of 3m outdoors !!?? - which is like the size and yeild of a reg strain but finishes early lol

I am currently growing some Autoberry and have a quick question on lighting. My 2 small girls are flowering really well right now while my big girl which is 2 weeks ahead of the other 2 has yet to show any white pistols at all even thought I can see she is trying. I am on 18/6 light schedule and was thinking of switching to 12/12 for a day or two to see if it would speed things up on the big one. Will this hurt the other 2 that are flowering really well right now?
