you're argument is flawed too - only certain strains will benefit from larger pots... i have had two auto's of same strain... 1 of them in a 2 gallon pot and 1 of them in a 5 gallon and they were both the same height and similar yields..

if you put a lowryder in a 5 gallon pot you are not going to get a 10foot plant are you?

The only auto strains I see growing to full potential in a 2 gallon is a true dwarf strain. And that would have to be the dwarf pheno of that particular strain. 90% of auto strains these days aren't dwarf strains. Lowryder is so 2008... Any more rabbits?

it was just an example, i've never even bothered with lowryder cos it's shit...

you obviously know everything there is to know about marijuana growing with your impressive 126 posts, you come across rude, arrogant, ignorant and unpleasant so I'm just going to ignore you from now on :D have a nice day..

Haha, cause experience is about posts huh. I love how you are going to defend someone who says "Autos don't need anything larger than a 2gallon". And that same person admits he can't have his plants grow too big. Then he proceeds to cover up all his horrible advice by editing his posts. Now you are going to call me arrogent from his peanut gallery. Impressive..... fail that is

LOL, looks like you got another nub that likes to have small plants and yields as well. Bravo!
Keep growing your cute little 2 gallon plants. You might break the 12" barrier someday

if you put an auto flower in the directly in the earth and not use a 1,2,3,4, or 5 gallon pot...does it then grow to cloud level. who cares what size pots people use or want to use. if they ask and you tell them...great. if not mind your business...at least that's my attitude. just sayin.

You kill me, I wasn't freakin out what so ever. I was posting my experience with a new strain nub
I didn't ask anyone what to do. 12/12 isn't a option for my setup nub.

as far as i am concerned he only exists as humorous anecdote of the past... maybe if you ignore it long enough it will catch a hint and go away

I've been growing hydro before you smoked bud sonny. Red dwarf is exactly that, a dwarf and they max at 12" nub. Which is excatly what that ended at. How about my 95 gram fruit auto. How about my Auto Aks

I went 12/12 on my autos (lynch me) because I have a nonauto under same light that needs to bud already and because my 2 autos were taking too long. They're in 3g pots with roots shooting out of the bottom. I think a bigger pot may or may not help with height and overall size of the plant depending on strain genetics, but I am a firm believer that the more space roots have to grow, the stockier and sturdier the main stem will be, both of which I consider important qualities of a strong healthy plant.

Just harvested my 2nd Himalayan Blue Diesel. Looks and smells great. Hoping to yeild 20 grams of a 12'' plant. These are a nice easy growing autoflower but seem to be sensitive to nutes and high heat.. Found that out the noobie way but next ones will be better.
