Hey y'all, I've been growing the 'short' autoflowers (LR2 and right now Hindu Kush). If I didn't pay attention to the height on the description, what's the tallest these autos get? And how much shorter are they than your typical indoor regular plant?

guys help me out please .... alrite so i have a superskunk"male" and was wondering if i was to use that pollen on my hindukush auto"female" would the seeds be auto still ? or would i have to put the pollen on a ruderias ?

Does Hydroponics speed up the growth time of an Autoflower? I'm only up to page 7 of this thread and I haven't seen anyone do a hydro grow. Guess I'll keep reading.

If the superskunk is an autoflower then yes, if its not, then its a toss up, some of the seeds will have auto and some won't, if you take the ones that auto and breed them again and again and you can start locking the traits you want in. Pretty simple, but takes some time to do. I'm trying to find some good strains to cross to make a new auto but havn't found a real good one, thinking of ppp and autoak47, not sure yet, and it will be some time before I do it, like years haha

I ordered some DNA genetics 60 day wonder seeds, they say that the plants can be grown in any light cycle, will my yield be less if I go with 12/12, 18/6, or 24/0 instead of 20/4?

The less light you give them, the smaller they will be, I ran mine under CFLs for a week on 24/0, then moved them into 3 gallon pots under a 1000w HPS, their development has actually sped up under the HPS, even though they aren't under 24/0 any more, the extra lumens seem to have made a difference.:weed:

Good heavens!!!!! What kind of lights are you using on these beasts? I'm growing mine under 27w CFLs and they only get to be about 1 ft tall ...

rabid im doing a power kush frm dinafem now and its doing great, smells intense, do u have a ny pics, or can u tell me what u thought of final smoke, yield etc:)

as for ya autos, i have found the ak, and easyriders are best yielders, and very potent. but i have also bin impressed by the diesel ryders i have seen in this thread, didnt like the taste of diesel though,, i can see y its called diesel lol
hell ya i can help ya out, thats what this forum is for. its like christmas giving is truly better than recieving.
as for the pwoer kush, i truly think my 1 free seed was a midget. the widows thrived with the ebb and flow and the power kush acted as if it was dead for the 1st 5-6 weeks of 12/12.my widows were at around 66% of final yield(just a guess) and the power kush had yet to even clear my scrog. no pics dude but i took my widow to 12.5 weeks when i thought they coulda got cut at 10 just to give power kush a shot but in the end i had to get em out cuz i have a party this sunday.
edit: smoke report on the kush. lets just say i am sure it is a kush :)

When do u start feeding more flowering nutes? I have some sweet seeds creamy caramel in soil with co2 and wondering if I should wait til the branching changes to asymetrical(which means its flowering obviously) or should I just start after acouple weeks?

The best thing is to watch the plant closely and let it tell you. If you start and it tells you it is too soon then back off for a while. If it does fine, then keep going. Just remember, it's a lot easier to over-do it with nutes than it is to starve them of nutrients. If you are unsure how much to use, start conservatively and slowly work your way up.

As far as when to start flowering nutes...don't worry about which kind of nutrient it is. With autoflowers, it makes sense to me to make a transition from grow nutes to bloom nutes as the plant makes this transition. Like using 3/4 of your grow dose and 1/4 of your flowering dose. Then as it starts to be more completely budding rather than growing, you should also be using mostly flowering nutes. Grow nutes and flowering nutes are just different levels of mostly the same things...so using one instead of the other isn't such a big deal as long as you're not doing anything extreme.

When the nodes (branches) are asymmetrical it means the plants mature/maturing. It doesn't mean its in flower....

I was about to say the same thing except then I figured he might have been meaning that if the autoflowering plant had asymmetrical nodes it would have also already revealed its sex. So, maybe he was not saying that asymmetrical nodes means it is showing sex, just that it shows a plant's age and that an autoflowering plant's age has a lot to do with it's likelihood of having shown its sex.
