Autoflower Thread & Resource Guide

Oh and also, I've put one of my indoor Lowryders on 24hr light cycle - do you think this will help or impede the little one? Norm might go for a 20/4 or even 18/6 but thought I'd see what happens on a 24/0......?
Peace

just a question i have a smurfberry and a russian rocket growing literally for a month now, when will the smell start to occur? and how do i make them a hermie so i can stock some seeds? lets say i have 2 plants, a female white widow and a male northern lights both a few feet apart, i know the male plant will pollinate the female plant, would that affect for my female to be a hermie? and would the hermie still produce a 100% white widow seeds or it will be already considered 50-50

I've got 4 autos growing outdoors on my balcony. 2 Easyryders at day 59/60. 1 Pakistan Ryder that sprouted a few days ago, and 1 Advanced Seeds Top 69 that just sprouted. I haven't found a single thread anywhere, on any site, about the Top 69. Just the blurb from the seedbanks, but no actual journal or any info from anyone that has actually grown one. Guess I'm taking one for the team.

The Top 69 is the little one coming out of the soil all gimpy looking.

James 2627, I'll be following your grow to see how your indoor Pakistan Ryder does. From what I've seen, most autos do better indoors.

And I'm germinating a Reserva Privada Kandy Kush Fem. Definitely not an auto. My balcony is gonna get crowded.

Don't know if already covered on this thread. Does indoor/outdoor grow make sense for AFs?
The beautiful thing about autos is that they'll bud-up outside regardless if they days are still getting longer. I may be moving back to Hawaii, where it is tough to grow indoors (expensive electricity, no basements, etc.,) but knowing that I could have stash all year round from an outdoor grow makes me a happy camper :) :leaf:

I would think you might get a little more and or faster growth on 24/0 but it might not be worth the extra electricity, cus with a small light cycle they can use stored daytime energy efficiently to keep growing. Plus I wonder if even autos might respond to a little dark cycle for flowering better?

ok since my first option of soil is not available in my area.. the next best thing i could find would but the (all hated) Miracle-Gro organic choice potting mix soil .. think this soil is sufficient enough for auto ak47s? ... cause dont really have the time/resources this year for making my own soil .. so any help here?

Yea fair, sounds like I should probs cut it down a bit... Will try 20/4 and see what happens!!
Also, for some reason all my plants (indoor and out) seem ridiculously small compared to other peoples on this thread, for example the 2 week old babies on the previous page... Will post up some pics tomorro and see what u guys think... But its well annoying!!!! :-(
Pics tomorrow.
Peace

hey man, im doin an outdoor grow in my backyard in GA. im at like four weeks in from the seed and i chose the Lowryder-Ganja dwarf seeds. i have had super hot weather(in the 90's) and a couple days of thunderstorms so im a little behind schedule. but i was wondering what kind of fertalizer you would recommend and how often you think i should use it. i fertalized for the first time yesterday using advanced nutrients Big Bud. but i was just lookin for some advice and tryin to see what your preference was. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank man. happy growing!
