If you buy a HPS ballest it will operate almost an MH bulb of equivilat voltage.
But MH ballasts require you buy a conversion bulb to run a HPS in it.
I didn't know that! I thought you could only use both MH and HPS if you have a switchable ballast. Nice to know for the future!

In a 4' 6 tube T-5, for flower would it be a good idea to run: Red, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Red for light color spec. 6500k blue, 2700k red.

Or would you just be better off running all 2700k red? If throwing a mix and keeping a bit of blue would be somewhat beneficial, I would go that route. No room for side lighting, or any other.

Thanks guys.

Guys and Gals, Pandora update day 56, roughly day 23 of flower. She is quite the beast to say the least. She is taking up a whole Growlab GL80 which is 31"x31"! All this under some small t5 lights. I am hoping for 3 ounces but am anticipating it to go 85 days. She has spent the last week under 18/6 but prior she was 20/4. I have decided to buy another tent for my cloning and mothers so this bitch can finish up. I needed the space she is taking up in a bout 10 days. I wasn't anticipating her getting so big... never under estimate the hydro :eyesmoke:

Looks good! Maybe my next auto will be a Pandora. I was leaning towards the Dinafem fruit auto I just bought, but man she's big!

I swear up and down by the Dinafem Autos. I've poped roadrunner 1, Fruit auto, and the Haze. I got 95grams of some great dank off my Fruit auto freebie under 1k in hydro.
She was branchy and 40" tall. Some of the branches were almost as high as the main cola.

Sweet! I've heard good things and seen awesome grows with Dinafem gear. I also ordered a Haze Auto, but since that one takes longer, I'll wait until I have my photo girls harvested and my ladies in waiting moved to flower.

Here are our girls all six of them. 3x3 tent, 250 hps, soil, all organic, blue mountain organic ferts. three BHD, one onyx, one Delicious Seeds II Diavolo. Today is 5 weeks. the tall one is one of the Onyx and its sort of strange in that all the others are very tight and full yet this one isn't.

sorry there are actually two Onxy. had three others but they went male. we doubt we're do the onxy again after reading other reviews about people having a high percentage going male on them when using femi'zed seeds. thinking the genetics aren't quite where they need to be.

Yeah, I had 2 Onyx at the start of this grow. One died and the other was male. I'm happy with my Mi5, though! I call her Jane Bond. I'll jump on the real comp and post some pics of her!

Thanks, surfhead. I'm really hoping for an ounce from her. I measured her earlier and she's 20 inches tall. Guess L'll find out in a few weeks!

I had the lights 24/0 the first 3 weeks, then switched to 20/4 when pistils started showing. And I have her under CFLs in my veg area. My flower area is all full and running 12/12! 3 1/2 ounces is amazing! If I could have left her under the HPS I would have, but my photo girls were getting too big and I couldn't wait any longer to flip them. I plan to always have an auto or two going for variety! I can try many strains in a shorter time, then pick my faves!

I haven't posted on this site in a while since joining another dedicated to autos. I have a mix of blue himalayan diesels, tuttie frutties, mystery midgets, and a sour diesel haze male for pollen collection. about a month ago I had to scrap everything I had to get rid of the terminator of pests muthafuckin thrips. I decided to give the hempy method a try, with a little modification. I placed 4 inch airstones in the bottom of my containers and moved the hole up higher to keep a higher water table. The air pushes the water up through the perlite. The plants seem to dig it,here are some picks of my setup and my cabinet after the reset.mystery midget.jpgbhd3.jpgbhd4.jpgSDHmale.jpgcups.jpgmm2.jpgtuttiefruttiehempy.jpgbhd2.jpgtop.jpgbottom.jpgbublin.jpgBHD.jpgnutes.jpgtuttie fruttie.jpgBHDa.jpg
