First off i work in the industry in a flower room so I sort of know what I’m doing. For my medium I didn’t do much research, I went and bought MG that says it feeds for 6 months and now realize that’s a bad idea(we use coco coir at work and I wanted to start with soil) , should of just got fox farm. My auto sapling just sprouted today, should I dig out what I can of the MG and replace it with FF? Just avoiding the center of the pot? Or what can I do in this situation?

If youre comfortable with Coco and work with it at your job...why not do what works? Ive switched entirely to Coco personally and not looking back. How much space do you have to grow? If you want to keep it as a learning lesson, just keep it in the MG and go forward.
I don’t irrigate or mix our nutrients, so I figured it would be even more of a learning curve to not start with soil. 4x2 tent.. yeah I could do that, could possibly turn out right but the slow release nutrients sound like a pain

Yep...top dressing and organic nutes can be a bit of a guessing game if you don't do your research. I've found coco to be VERY easy for beginners. I use one nutrient (Maxibloom) the entire cycle and it's super simple.
I’ll have to pick some up then, may try to transplant these into fox farm, would you think the sooner the better or wait till it’s more established?

Wait until they're more established. Never transplant them until there is a nice root system going.
I’m just worried about stunting them transplanting since they are autos

Man I feel bad for the people that hired you. What exactly do you do in this flower room?
Prune, defoliate, train, load plants.. nothing with the soil and nothing with veg..

For my medium I didn’t do much research,” your already second guessing everything. I dont grow autos so no help but next time id go coco atleast you can see or ask whats working for your growers. If you can make koolaid you can mix nutes

OF isn't really a hot soil. The seed starter I use has a higher nutrient load then OF. It's on par with the strawberry fields bag soil. It had enough to feed my momma plants for 1.5 months before fading out.
