Bag seed: male or female?

I heard that the female seeds are lighter colored than the male seeds. Is this a good way of determining that your plant will be female without having to go through sexing and all of that time just to find out you have a usless male?

no, i have also heard the male plants smell different but personally i woulndt kill a plant bassed soaly on smell, males have balls, females buds; its the only 100 percent way of telling, good luck brotha

Thanks man, I didn't think the way a seed looked had any bearing on whether female or male but I might as well figure out if I need to waste time growing a male on accident.

wait till you sex it 12hours on 12 off,seed color doesnt determine male of female but a seed should be beautiful,hard,not cracked something like so

Yea I had like 10 seeds in the bag I got but all but two were cracked, I guess this is because the "stuff" was compressed. It was like a small nugget of compressed goodness. Hoping for females!
