Bagseed first grow.

Today is day 22 since the lights have been turned to 12/12. How does it look?

Also, the bottom fan leaves are starting to yellow. What can/should I do?

Also, the plant is in a 2.5L pot at the moment. I feel like It should be in a bigger pot. At this point in the plants life would it be beneficial to transplant it, or is it going to be a certain death for the plant?

Thanks.

Transplanting will never end up in death, I wouldn't transplant this late into flowering but if it goes smooth you may only lose a day or two but if it goes bad you could lose weeks to recover

So here is the question of the day - Will the plant be able to produce a nice amount of bud and live happily in its container (2.57L), or should I transplant it and risk recovery time (Of which I have none - It's got to be harvested sometime during the week of august 10th which means I have 5-6 weeks left)... Hmmmmm

Anyone know why the bottom fan leaves are turning yellow, and have very dark red/purple stems? The ones above that are starting to yellow as well. I tried looking up the cause and it seems it might be a potassium def. or a magnesium def. ? I also read this is normal in plants during the end of the flowing cycle, however the plant isn't even three weeks in.

Is it really growing that fast? I know I have a few more weeks left, but to me it looks like the plant has a lot of filling out to do. But I hope your right!

Does anyone have any advice, besides add more lights?

Day 29. A shot of the bud at each node...

Thanks man.

I've used some miracle grow slow release fertalizer, which comes in a pellet form that you sprinkle in the soil. I have no idea if it's working or not.
The soil I used also says it can feed a plant for 6 months.

I have been giving it small amounts of dark organic brown sugar, which contains some molasses...

I've been watering it with filtered tap water I try and let sit for a few hours, bottled spring water, and I've even given it some bottled watered enhanced with calcium, magnesium, and potassium.

I really need to make a trip and get some molasses.

Day 32: Mixed results!

The bud is looking good. However, do you guys think it will be ready in four weeks? That's when I need to harvest.

Also, the plant has more leaves yellowing. Can I fix this, and if so, how? Or should I just trim the fan leaf off?

Look at the plant spike packaging back it will say
some thing like 5-12-6 its the N-P-K
The first is nitrogen which is used for veg although its nice to have a smidge through out to keep your leaves green
the second is phosophurus used in flower making
the third is potassium also used in bloom
make sure to not over feed with MG
the buds look nice fer sure I would give them as long as they need dont be to quick to pluck if 4 more weeks works fine if 5 or 6 looks necessary give it to them

AND YOUU NEEED MORE LIGHTS LOTS MORE

Chances are good that your pots are getting root bound. Since it is late for potting up in size I suggest carbonated bottled water or seltzer water to get oxygen to the roots, some worm castings and 0-10-10 Alaska Morbloom mixed as a TEA. Brier Rabbit molasses is cheap too! You can shake it up in a gallon of water vs the need for an aquarium pump etc. with good results. All are relatively cheap.

My last grow started using up lower leaves as yours are. Dont worry it will continue to bud and grow even if it sheds all but the leaves near the bud. Just dont try to over fix the root bound condition. It will finish.

I've germinated the seeds, and they are now on day 8.

Miracle grow potting soil, miracle grow slow release fertalizer.

2) 5500K 27watt CFL's = Around 2000 lumens I think. I will be adding more lights.

Temp gun says its around 83*F and middle 70's will the lights off.

Lights are on a 18/6 timer.

How do they look for being a little over a week old? I swear I can see them growing!

Bro, seriously GET those out of that MG soil. Use something different... MG sucks when used as a growing medium for mj.

Thanks guys. Unfortunately I have to pick it in four weeks as I'm moving back to a different state and want to leave about to week for the bud to cure. I'm not looking for chronic... just some nice homegrown bud that'll get me high :)

Thanks for the tips, I'll see what I can do.

Last bud I smoked that was grown with MG, WAIT........ The ONLY bud I smoked that was grown with MG tasted pretty shitty. Even when flushed thoroughly. I would look into some new nutes bro....

they sure are some cute little things eh? yeeaa... juju booboo? goo goo gah gah? shwippitty dwippitty do.

Day 42 (6 weeks) Of flowering.

Thoughts?
