As requested, here are my ladies this morning. I am 'overwhelmed' by the growth and the buds on these plants! Obviously they were NOT AFs but they definitely were feminized and they're filling up my little space. I had to give one away because there's just no room! Next time I grow ONLY 5 max at a time. I also included a pic of the 'new babies'... They are Feminized AK48 from Nirvana in their full second week in the dirt. Amazing what I can do with a little help from the husband and the Marijuana Gods!!!

unfortunately the ladies i had were infested with spidermites and were killed....I bought some spider mite killers tho for my next grow...about two weeks of growth on the AK-47 and ill ut them on the plants to keep that from happening again
My AK48s are in one gallon pots right now and will stay there until they are root bound. Hopefully the flower room will be vacated by then.

There is a fantastic thread on this site: 937-how-grow-marijuana-4.html that is extremely informative on this and other parts of the growing cycle. The big lesson I've learned regarding when to harvest is this: when you are sure it's time to harvest, wait another week. I can't tell you how many missed opportunities I've had because I was too impatient and harvested too soon. After awhile, you get used to what the buds are supposed to look like. And I do have a handheld magnifier (mostly because I'm old and half blind haha). Remember that I'm less experienced than you are in growing but I do read a lot. Knowledge is power.

Well, sorry I didn't get back in time to post an answer. I think that the only AF Nirvana is selling is their tried and true Lowryder strain. I did get some of those seeds but won't plant for awhile as I have my hands full with a packed nursery and an overstuffed bud room. (poor me, right??? haha). Just check their websites on Fridays for their weekend special. It's always something good and they give a really good discount PLUS their delivery is prompt and discreet.
I won't take any new pics of my big bud plants until right before I harvest. There's just such a jumbled mess in there that you can't tell anything new is happening anyway. Right now I've switched most of them to just the Foxfarm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom nutes because the last thing I need is more vegetative growth on these monsters. I am going to post the pics on the Nirvana Portal so that people could see what I coaxed out of a probable disaster.

Just had to share some new pics of my 'AF' plants. I think I have about 3 weeks or so before I harvest. Any guesses? I'll be watching these things more carefully in a week or so...
apologies for the weird color shift. I was trying to get the color right as the lights shift it to an ugly orangey color.

Well, here are some pics of my buds... I've also posted them on another thread because I have no idea when to harvest. These are in their 10th week..and thanks for all the input to get me to this point. The plants are all very sticky, some are full of heavy buds, some are short and not so heavily flowered because there is just not enough room in there for all of them!
I'm not so sure but I think it might be time to cut back on the nutes and start using water flushes. There are some 'brown hairs' in the flowers, but these are white flowered plants and so it's hard to know when I'm supposed to cut em down.
Any ideas?

Okay...so now I have a little problem... I think.. Some of the fan leaves are turning bright yellow and some of the side buds are falling over big time. I'm thinking this is a normal process as the plant is dying and in two weeks or so it's getting chopped but this is so pitiful to see drooping buds. Should I chop the drooping buds early and start drying them? Should I pull the yellow leaves?
My grow room is way overcrowded (see previous pics) but I think the crowd is holding the drooping buds up for the most part, and I'm trying to tie up the buds and stems that are not being held up but it's getting a little weird in the room...
Any ideas or should I just wait? I need the room soon as my nursery is about ready to be transplanted into 5 gallon pots but there's no room at the inn right now.
My flowering plants have been flushed once already and I think they have two more flushes before they are ready to be harvested. I'm only seeing about 10% amber trichomes and am shooting for 30% amber, 70% cloudy. Am I on the right track??

I am at present in harvest mode, but thanks. I've got most of the plants down and drying. The first two are already in jars and curing! What a harvest! First two were harvested with 90% cloudy and 10% amber (that's gonna be my 'day weed'). The third plant got harvested at 80% cloudy and 20% trichomes. The fourth is hanging upside down at 70/30. I see a major 'couchlock' in its future...haha. I have two more plants to harvest but they are not quite where I want them yet. I have HUGE AK48s under a grow light right now just waiting to go into the 'big room' with the 1000 watt light in it. They are pretty scraggly but I'm hoping they'll catch up once I get those other 2 plants harvested.
