On a slightly more serious note, I think it's important to nip these types of theories in the bud with some valid rebuttals. I was just watching a CNN segment where they were talking about how many millions of people basically saw conspiracy theories on this subject before they even watched the news or fact checked. I believe it's a serious issue considering that a number of elected officials are flagrantly participating in these tactics. And it really does bother me, as I do have older relatives not equipped, just due to their demographic, to fully appreciate or understand some of the nonsense going down with modern social media right now.
 
There was another bridge fire going on in Ohio, at the same time as the Key bridge collapse. Near "Independence". Ohio is also one of the 5 workforce hub deals, in the new diverse Biden-Harris Investing in America agenda. I wonder how many more major infrastructure "accidents" are gonna happen in the 5 places where all that money went?

I agree and I think in some of my earlier posts, you'll see me debunking these fake stories. I even proactively debunked the fake stories before they made themselves known. On the other hand, people who post conspiracy theories feel absolutely no impulse to rebut a true story, they just layer on the bullshit and ignore the facts. It doesn't seem to matter much what we say.

So, mocking them is appropriate too. And I do that too. Each to their own and to each their own depending on their mood.
 
@Fogdog , I understand and don't blame you whatsoever. I've just personally chosen a different route to go with this for the most part. I've always been a positive person, but there were a couple of recent years where I lost that positive space and became a cynical curmudgeon (not saying you are BTW) with WAY too many negative thoughts. It was affecting my family, my music, and just everyday life so I'm just trying to spread a little white light around to both get self-attuned again and to hopefully carry that over to other folks who have been through shitty times.

Like Dr. Amber mentioned, I listen to most Metal genres, including Death, but not exclusively. Grew up taking Royal Conservatory piano(RCM), classical guitar, etc. I'm not really pigeonholed into what I listen to so much, by I lean on my preference. My own playing is pretty much heavy rock/metal but I also have a Jazz influence from suffering through a college level " Contemporary" music degree for 2 years. Just joking about the suffering part. Sorta.

Isn’t it shitty enough how this accident happened given the facts we know? Why must there always be a god damn conspiracy? If you’ve ever lived through a major catastrophe and had a bunch of people, none of them were affected by the disaster, come up with all kinds of bat shit crazy conspiracy theories i guess you’ll never really know how fucked up those bullshit conspiracy theories are and why it pisses people like me off.

Btw, do you really think that the sinister people who pull off these conspiracies, you know blowing up bridges on purpose and blowing up the twin towers etc, could really get away with such plans these days? There obviously would have to be quite a few people involved?

They could at least wait until he's served his prison sentences and done something to rehabilitate his name and then die. Then maybe I'd be OK with naming Battle Mountain Nevada's landing strip "Trump International Airport".
