Barney's Farm LSD Waterfarm, Day 20, 650w 3 x 3 tent - Impressions?

What up people? Just wanted your thoughts on my current run. I have one Barney's Farm LSD going in a Waterfarm, that I've FIM'd and supercropped multiple times. I really wanted to experiment with these techniques. The plant was vegged under a 250w MH for almost six weeks, and the lower popcorn-producing branches have been aggressively pruned. She really hasn't stretched as much as I've heard about this strain, though this could be due to the FIMming and supercropping (?). I'm using AN Connie at around 1000 ppm right now, she didn't react well to higher concentrations (yellowing of some of the lower leaves), so I think I've found the sweet spot. Also using Big Bud, Bud Factor X, B-52, Rhino Skin, Hygrozyme, Bud Candy, H & G Roots Excelurator and Drip Clean, and I have some Purple Maxx and Gravity lined up for week six. Also will be using Overdrive and Final Phase towards the end.

She takes up almost the entire 3 x 3 footprint of the tent she's in, and she's under a 250w MH in a reflector and a 400w hps hanging vertically. This week I'll be replacing the 400w hps bare-bulb for a 600w in a reflector, and hanging the 250w MH vertically instead. I really wanted to get a mixed spectrum in there as it's part of the experiment.

Based on the pics, what are your impressions of her? Right now we are at day 20 of 12/12, and everything seems to be going fairly smooth. Temps have been at a constant 80 degrees, even with the heat wave we've been experiencing in my neck of the woods. Any guesses as to what the final yield might be?

The streech on my lsd plant's end up being 12-16" and fill in completely with bud and get's very frosty!! Just wait take's two week's for streech then 6 week's for swell then 2-3 week's finish (where I am at now!) I lst and lollypop for about 10-14oz's per plant I plant 6 each grow..Your plant's will do awesome just give the poor girl time!!!!View attachment 2240015

yours look different to mine.
mine are 4 weeks in veg and they are indica dom,especially 1 which has massive super fat fan leaves.
but mine are not really branching out much,the branches at the moment are small and close to the main stem,maybe this will change during flower.
they are all very healthy,but my g13 pinapple expresses are alot bushier.

Sandie- you're expecting a 10-11 week total finishing time? Just wondering what I'm in for here.

Resinous- I've read of up to five different phenos of LSD... Probably would have been a lot less bushy if I hadn't manipulated the plant so much. The leaves on mine do have a very sativa-ish look to them. I got the cut from a friend and have had a chance to sample the smoke a while back, and it's a very indica high.

Many pheno's as stated earlier I don't feel this strain is stabilized...8 week flower time 5-6 week vege time, 3 week seedling no matter how I cut it it's four month's from popping seed's.....clone crop was 4 week's to root...4 week's vege...8 week's flower...four month's same shit if you want a large yield...time is bud...

To others growing LSD, what were your phenos like?And how did they yield? What medium were they grown in? Right now, mine smells intensely lemony and I am covered in that smell every time I work with her.

Mine is just super sweet smell....sticky and has flouresence (sparkle's) jack

Shorter than the 1lb plant's but worth the time...

I'm beginning to wonder if I have a different pheno than the five listed here:

I have skinny sativa leaves, yet VERY little stretch. See how close together the nodes form? I wonder if this could be from the Bud Blood, the FIMming/supercropping, or the fact that I've kept my lights so close throughout flower?

Strain is only variable!!! some pheno's develope either tword's the sativa or...But look's mean nothing!! smallest yielder out there arjan's...is small popcorn bud's and little....but kcik's your ass!! you have to grow then access the quality after the 6 week's curing before you begin to guess...and many seed mix up's do occur and none of us will know!! Just enjoy the grow and focus in making her all she can be!! You will get the reward's!! jack

I just finished up an LSD. Mine was mostly Indica dominant and didnt crystal up until very late into flowering. Not a bad strain by any means, but nothing I would run again. Mine wasnt loaded with trichomes like some of my others do.

I got one. She's short, bushyish, small popcorn buds loaded with resin. She's in coco and a lot more nute sensitive than others i am growing. I hope she's the Arjan version spoken of earlier in this thread. Fairly strong smell of lemon. 44 days flower

Will be wet, must be wet, has to be wet or I am gonna grow potatoes instead. I grow inside and 4-5 oz is a proper result. If 10-14 I would be a millionaire, not to mention that I would have a permanent sticky patch in my shorts.

Those are some awesome genetic's......mouth's watering....If you smoke with company you have to throw them out they will NEVER leave!!jack

my last grow was lsd and am currently growing clones from the last batch.i found that out of 5 i have had three phenos that have stayed medium size and have clear indica traits while my other two have streched more then double and have long internodes.the smaller plants on my current grow have had a stronger smell from earlier and smell strongly of lemon while my tall plants took longer for a scent and smell less lemony and slightly peppery.overall yields were higher by avereage of half an oz with the taller plants.all plants were grew in 11l pots in coco and lst'd throughout veg
