beginner

ok so this is my first time ever posting a topic and this is my first time every growing i started growing it today ive bein blazing for about 3 yrs now but this is my first attempt at growing a plant i took 1 seed from my gram bag of regs and planted it in a pot its like a decent sized pot i put fertilizer and soil in barried the seed and ive waterted it once since i planted it about 2 hours ago with the tap from my sink that seems pretty decent then i placed it in a nice spot in my room and i put it in this box sort of thing with a florecent bulb pointed about an inch away from it its a very strong bulb i was wondering about how long until the flowering period and any pointers or tips or advice on wat i did please give me feed back ill be posting pictures later 2 show my results if i recieve any im not trying 2 grow a crazy bad ass plant im jus doing an expierement for the fun of just 2 give me some extra weed on the side for wen im bored cant wait 2 roll that first joint

You have a long way until flowering, at least until the plant is 5 to 6 inches tall or has 5 to 6 leaf nodes up the stalk. My thinking anyways to each their own though. Some flower later or earleir. Make sure it is a female first and foremost.

thanks now wen do i cut the plant and smoke it lol wat should it look like wen the flowering period is done i shuld jus cut the plant and then after u cut the plant how do u get all the weed from it how do u get the nugs and shit i dont get it from lookin at the plant

once you start flowering you will be able to get it from looking at it.You still have a min before you can flower though.You know how to force flower right? I know how you feel im impatient to smoke my own too.

Let her grow big and you will see. Keep the soil most, not wet and you will see.

still have about 8-10 weeks before you can harvest this plant...and this is only if its a female
