Hey everyone!
Been a little since I posted, but I've been doing some research on the whole Micro/stealth grow stuff and I have finally decided that I need to do this! I work in the computer industry and locating an old server kinda just fell into my lap. The main reason I like this case, is because the front has a functional lock which has to be removed in order to gain access to the side access itself.

Of course if you 'really' want to get in you can, but might be a deterrent for those 'nosy' friends haha. This isn't a 'this must be stealth' situation but sometimes out of sight ... out of mind.

My question, the interior has an opening 14" deep, 10" wide and 14" tall - is this going to be enough room to really be worth the trouble? If I remove the existing metal ( pop riveted, going to be a pain haha ) it will give me a clearance of 23 inches deep, 10 inches wide and 17 inches tall. Height would be a nice increase and I might be able to manage that easier - but is it really worth tearing down the existing casings for the extra depth? I plan on going with a single plant.

The reason I ask - with the power supply removed there is an opening large enough to put in a decent exhaust fan - as well as the large existing exhaust fan but as a bonus, in the front bottom portion there is yet another fan - perhaps I can set it up as an intake fan or is that overkill?
- - Main point ( sorry for the scenic tour to the point ) if I scrog, I understand depth is important, but nearly 2x's height?

Long story short - to cut or not to cut!? : )
Thank you in advance everyone!
