Best advice for powdery mildew?

Hey guys I was just wonder I picked up some safers 3 in 1 fungicide I was just wonder I just finished the first week of flower and was wonder the best way to deal with pm

Sulfur burner... And ofc good airflow and low RH!
Everything I read tho is tho make it taste like poop is this true and ya it’s the first grow and I didn’t get dehumidifier in time and within one night bam she arouse lol now humidity is at 40-50 the highest

I would use some Hydrogen peroxide with water. The reason why I say this is because the Hydrogen peroxide with dry up clear and clean with no residue to be left on the buds. It is also used to kill bacteria etc...

Personally I do this every 3-4 weeks apart to clean the floors and the clean the leaves of the plants.

30-50ml hydrogen peroxide - per gallon

I wouldn't use that Safers on cannabis. It's for fruits and vegetables that you'll be washing before eating or for flowers and other plants.

I'd get some citric acid and make a solution with that to spray on the plants. It works and is the active ingredient in many commercial products. It also kills mites and other pests as well.

A photo would help, or at least a description of the severity. If you catch it early on the leaves, I’ve had pretty good luck just wiping it away with a solution of one part whole milk to 8 parts water. Once you have it under control, be sure you’ve got good airflow and prune the inner canopy to prevent humidity build-up.

On a longer time line, I’ve actually had pretty good luck with breeding for PM resistance. I crossed with plants that didn’t get it last year and haven’t had nearly the PM problems this year, despite the same growing conditions.

Trust me I had it and the next bast thing would be (Green Clean) which is excellent but in your case flowering, so clearly the best choice will be Hydro-P & Water. Sooner is better than later you dont want any mushrooms growing in your soil :o

I agree that sooner is better than later, but since it’s only the first week of flower, I assume it’s mostly leaves that are affected. Why not try diluted milk?

It’s alkaline and when dried will form a glossy layer that defends against reinfection. All you need to do is dunk a paper towel in the solution and wipe the fuzz away — gone instantly.

It’s more time consuming than spraying but at least you’re not just waiting around, hoping the fungus will fully die off. I’ve tried alternate methods that use baking soda and they tend to work but also tend to burn leaves.

In any case, I’ve found powdery mildew to be a manageable issue and not necessarily devastating unless allowed to take over.

I’ll take pics later when it comes back( hopfully it doesn’t) it’s not bad it’s like 3-4 leaves on 2 plants the blue dream seems untouched
I tried the safers on the affected parts each cause I took the first cpl advices but we’ll see and if not I will have pics and definitely try the h2o2
