Shatter sell's for 90 a gram at some of the clubs around Humboldt, but the wholesale price is around 30 bucks a gram from the producers. Keep going to the retail stores and wasting your money there are a whole new generation of entrepreneurs out there getting rich off the stupid people of our great country. Grow your own or find someone willing to grow for you at a fraction of the price. I have yet to see a quality product at a club for a decent price. The black market is alive and kicking here in the Humboldt nation keep it going nation wide and cut off the hand outs to the new generation of lazy business people.

Her in Socal, we get shatter from $30-110 per gram. Wax from $15, bubble $20, Kief $10, RSO $70. There are better deals on craigslist, but I try to get mine from Weedmaps or the weekly community alternative news magazine.

Here in Colorado it runs from $25 a gram to anywhere to $50+ a gram .But, that is crazy if you want to pay that much for shatter, wax, etc

Market oversaturation...people are picky in the bay and waxy consistency BHO's are trending out in favor of oils and shatter's
That is very true. But as i stated above its the same price. The only price increase has been from winterizing the bho. It is minimal, just to cover the expense of dry ice, alcohol, and account for lost weight. My time was basically free becuase its fun to do :)

When you're talking bout sick people, the word MARKET should not appear...
Illness is not trendy.
Your right, it shouldn't. PERIOD. so why does it? How many people that go to clubs do so only because they are medically incapable of growing for themselves? Why is a MMJ club more like a candy store than a pharmacy?

The "market" its not evil, its just a word. Its how you mean it when you use it. Just as any other word. In this case(bay area) consumer demand is composed of fewer sick people than pleasure smokers... market availability caters to demand, and price to availability. So unfortunately the successful clubs are the ones catering to the majority demand. Quality seems to be forgotten for turnover.

unfortunately we are trying to hide and publicly legitimize a black market through medical pretenses...your quality meds are not reaching people who need them when everyone whom wants a pot license can pay $100 and with an over-availability of inferior medicine... it creates pot parlors rather than medicinal dispensaries if that makes sense? Not to say I think MMJ clubs are bad, but the way they currently being run and regulated is definitely temporary.

I had a friend who was diagnosed with brain cancer and while in treatment at Stanford was completely undereducated and desperately searching mmj clubs for some way to mediate his multiple symptoms. unable to find the quality of medicine he desired he came to me as a friend for knowledge and try and source from other growers and their families we knew locally for the cuts he needed. To this day he has convinced himself treatment aside that the the heat treated ethanol oil and granddaddy purple saved his life. He's been tumor free for almost five years now.
