yeah. actually tomorrow i plan to take pics of everything. i want you to see the buds. i think they look the same as the last time when i thought i might have light leak. my filter is huge and heavy. will take pics of seeds plants filter everything and will update tomorrow.

those are the afghan thcb and mazarxafghan seeds sitting on top of the aero tub

here is some pics of my fucked up practice plants the buds are about the same size as when i first showed you.

also a pic of my hygrometer. do you think 60 is a little high?

even those practice plants arent bad.. a little crazy lookin.. but not bad... why's all the pics say 1/18/2007 though??

so yea, that filter is the same as mine... i just keep mine in the grow room (for now) and actually i dont even exhaust mine... currently the air that should be exhausted in my grow room just gets circulated around.. i dont have a lot of heat anyways... but you can leave that beast on the floor with no prob... obviously make sure the air is being pulled through the prefilter and not pushed through.. otherwise that is PLENTY of filter to take care of all your smells...

they do look crazy. thats seeds from several different dime sacks and a couple of dealers. plus i let them get to big before i flowered. i was thinking that whill im waiting for my seedlings and then cloning for sex and then cloning to fill up the flood tray, i would maybe run some bag seed again on the table that im using now. i figure i could have plants in there in like 3 weeks and if these arent doing better ill just cut em down. i cant imagine what my yield would be right now. 20 sack probably. lol

im starting to feel the squeeze though from a money point of view.

i feel ya on the money... shit costs so much.. but you end up with a 10fold return from it...

something just struck me! could it be that i dont have enough co2?? could this be why my buds are fucked up? i was running the exhaust fan and pulling air from a room that is 50 feet away. is it possible that i was using the co2 faster than i was replenishing it. now i dont even draw in new air because im assuming that the co2 bucket is putting out enough.

i doubt that its that.. i as long as you are passively drawing in air, it doesnt matter how far away its from, it still keeps the co2 up.. if you stopped pulling in fresh air start again.. you want as much fresh air as possible.. but the co2 has nothing to do with whats going on now...

okay. i know the first thing youre gonna say is whats with the algae. i guess its the t5's and nutes in water. i really dont think this is the cause of the prob because it really wasnt even on the cubes until 2 days ago.

if you look at the pics you can see that alot of the seedlings just died right where i planted them. now i had about 98% survival with bagseed but all the afghans died and only one mxa made it. there are 4 out of 10 thcb. they look like they dont have enough light but they do. i hope this wont be a problem since i will be using clones anyway.

my method is to soak the seeds in a cup of water. covered and dark. when they get a nice tap root i stick the tap root into the little starter cube. my first batch of thcb i soaked for a day and then stuck them in the rockwool and pushed the rockwool down to touch the seed as shown by jorge cervantes. all those seeds died except four out of 30. they looked similar to these almost like they couldnt get out of the rockwool.

the only thing i can think of is that they just were drowned out... if you keep that much water in that tray all the time its very possible that the seeds just were drowned.. with rockwool you should soak it and then let it go until its almost completely dry.. to much moisture + high humidity + warm temps = mold and mildew and plant death....

imho i disagree with that germination method.. i do soak my seeds for 24 hours.. but after 24 hours i put them straight into whatever growing medium i plan on germing them in.. be it rockwool or dirt.. i dont like messing around with the tap root.. its very delicate and easily harmed... it could have just been an issue of the tap root being injured and the seed dieing...

on a separate note, i may be a shitty grower but my aero machine works wonderfully. you cant see it in the pics very well, but the thcb clones are showing a tap root coming out of the cube. gonna wait a few days until i know they are vegging and repairing then off to the flowering room. i hope this plant is a female. then i could probablly fill one tray just from this one mother. that would be great. then i will just take a couple clones of it and put them in some of that "soil" i think they call it. then ill use the aero to clone everything and put them in the bigger cubes. i would only need 40 clones for one tray. so i pray it is female. i got rid of the tall skinny one and the other one that was bushy but had a ton of damage from lack of water before i revised the aero tub. just cant wait to get at least one tray going with good buds. :bigjoint:

ss420>> thanks for checking it out. i have come to agree with your assesment. i guess when i put my first 30 in the rockwool and drowned them, i assumed that i should use a different method so i waited till taproot was longer and set it inside. i had a better success rate like this but was still drowning them. so im lucky to have 4-6 coming up. i guess it doesnt matter if they are stressed since they will be moms.

okay, two clones of the thcb in the aero have several roots showing and were put in flwr room. praying they are female.

fixed situation with seedlings. no more sitting in water. gonna start my next seeds using a better method where i will stick the cubes in some water and then place in the tray. it is a testament to the bagseed to grow 90 percent with the drowning method. i should copyright "drowning method"

they shouldnt be to stressed.. they are still to young for any stress to REALLY affect them.. if you take care of them you will have healthy big mommas!!

yeah i got 10 more seeds just starting to sprout tap roots. if she is a she then i should be able to get fourty clones from her and fill one tray. my aero tub is awesome cloner. i still havent cloned in a tray yet. if its a boy then i have to wait for new mommies and might run more bagseed. still dont know what to do with the practice plants.

and congratulations simpson on your harvest. cant wait to do that my self. maybe 4 months

hey. here are some pics of my lone thc bomb plant and its roots. also there are some pics of the seedlings i cleaned up a bit. there is one mxa in front and the others are thcb

the aero is using 2 inch cups. the roots go way down to the bottom of the tub and sit in water.

i meant to take some pics of the two clones that are in flower. how long do you think until they show sex?

DAMN.. now that is a root mass!! thats a HUGE root system... at least you know you girl isnt struggling to drink!

if the clones are rooted and in flowering... itll take about 14 to 20 days... they get shocked when you move them.. do you have to add a couple days to the mix... how long has it been??

the seedlings look a lot better since they got cleaned up... itll make a big difference for you!

That's on the bottom of a 5 gal bucket(my boot lower left), if you couldn't tell..... The leafs were 2 1/2" across the width of the middle leaves.
I have a thcb that comes down in a bit over a week from now. I 'll get you a pic of her and the buds if I can remember my cam this time......I am pretty sure I had to chop the main cola(though may have bent it) as it was in the light and way taller than my WW or AK.

okay goood question ss, this will be day 3. i hope i dont fuck up the clones with the maxed out nutes . they are in the same tray that ihave going. i might have been quick to move them. they had roots showing outside the rw starter. i was thinking that i should just clone 35 right now in preperation that it is female. all i have to lose is my buzz and less than 12 bucks in rw. might do this today.

gman, that is huge leaf. you should save that fucker. press it or whatever they do to leaves. i bet someones grandma knows how to save it.lol

but what do you think of the plant gman? compared to yours. this is with t5 lighting and of course aero.

the mxa was the one in front its as big if not bigger than the thcb
