It was a memo so outrageous, it caused a top Justice Department official to quit on the spot. But for Donald Trump’s dwindling band of loyalists at the White House, it still wasn’t enough.

On Monday, Attorney General Bill Barr “authorized” Justice officials to investigate allegations of voter irregularities. But his memo doing so practically admitted there was little-to-no evidence for any such election fraud. The document warned that “specious, speculative, fanciful or far-fetched claims should not be a basis for initiating federal inquiries” and that “nothing here should be taken as any indication that the Department has concluded that voting irregularities have impacted the outcome of any election.”

The memo sparked a new wave of criticism that the president and his allies were willing to sacrifice the country’s democratic foundation in the pursuit of power. Even those steps weren’t enough to satisfy Team Trump, however. Shortly after Barr’s declaration broke, officials close to the president and working on his re-election effort said they thought the memo could give the president and Rudy Giuliani another element to incorporate into their messaging war against the results of the free and fair election, but that it wouldn’t prove to be the legal game changer that they needed.

Four officials working on President Trump’s flailing post-election effort and a senior White House official told The Daily Beast on Monday evening that the Barr memo was, at best, too little too late, a letdown, or just, in the White House official’s words, “nothing to write home about.”

I like to look at things from the other side sometimes and see what their problems and obstacles are, what motivates their actions. This time it takes no special talent to know what is on Mitch's mind, Georgia, 2 senate seats and retention of power, his primary concern. On the other hand clinging to power and getting away with the crime of the century is what Donald wants. Mitch is trying his best to placate Donald, as is Barr, they don't want him going rogue before Georgia so they are playing him, nobody wants to go to prison for Donald and that is what it will come down to. Mitch has got his work cut out, if Donald starts running super spreader rallies in Georgia spouting threats and calling for insurrection.

This is just with the democrats standing around watching them dig their own graves. Imagine if Nancy thought it was useful to win the senate races in Georgia to impeach Trump and force Mitch to try and convict him or once again own him. If one of the impeachment charges was the Stormy Daniels election cheating, then they would be vindicated with in weeks or months and Mitch would have shit on his face when they acquit the fuck. It involves sex and a porn star so the public should at least notice it.

According to what they said on MSNBC, yes Trump can ask for (but have to pay for it) a recount after the election is certified it looks like.

I think the goon running against Ossoff is hoping like hell he somehow squeaks over the 50% to not have to have a runoff.

The Republicans get to have their base all fired up, and Trump takes all the shit storm when it falls flat. Keep the senate for 2 years to try to Tea Party Biden and the economy so they can have a shot at 2022 to win big in the senate/house to stop all things Democratic, then you get 2024.

So, Dec 8 is the deadline for the states to have their say. All that should remain is for Biden to handle the paperwork.

Ossoff is about to get some highly talented help along with Abrahams scouring the state for every vote. Hopefully Donald can make enough people have second thoughts and a bit of buyers remorse.
