Big Buddha Seeds: Cheesus!

Well she drunk all the last solution at 1100ppm. Flushing overnight now for 12 hours of darkness.. Day 1 of flower starts tomorrow on pure "Advanced Hydroponics Of Holland" Bloom and GHE Micro mix. This should finish me up for xmas even if its some 'sample bud' if it takes the full 11 weeks (Big Buddha states 9-11 weeks going to say 11 lol)

Through day 1 of flower after 12 hours of darkness the night prior... Seems to be very happy with the nutrient switch up from GHE Grow to Advanced Hydroponics of Holland bloom with GHE micro at 950ppm. down to 850ppm after half the res. Topped up with water will prob boost it to 1050ppm tomorrow:





Left myself decent amount of space in net to handle the stretch and keep the scrog under control for the first week before letting her go. Goal of course being a full and nice even canopy

she is looking really good I removed the screen from my headband as I've got to work on my room but when I went in this afternoon she is getting aggressive so I fed on the heavy side

Cheers mate, yer she is coming along nicely fairly attentive in the intricacies of growing but I guess it comes with experience handling it. Cheesus as weed iv smoked as Iv said is definately up there in my favourite smokes probably my top 3. Iv started to get really excited this is going to be like the stuff I smoked back home in the UK, the earthy smell off of just the stems is making me dribble lol - The interesting thing is Iv heard she yields slightly less than cheese or chiesel but the smoke is superior so 30/40g difference isn't going to make me upset hhahaa the thing is I grew Cheese i literally got g for watt so should still be hitting over 300g really. Don't really care tooooo much long as I get the weed Im seeking for, fucking near impossible to find quality of weed I like to smoke around here, although morrocon hashes are as easy as getting a pizza lol

Headband looking good mate Id prob have her on straight water for a bit then bump up, she looking over fertilised still a little - but if the PPM is dropping keep pushing her! Whats the roots looking like in the lower res? As you say it has that Skywalker type growth to it its bound to catch up in a couple more weeks. Whats the flower time on that strain? Could be in for a good race to xmas bro! the other guys water farm grow didn't make it

I ordered a 6 cob led growlight that's supposed to replace a 600w. hps & only use 340w. of power I'll get a pic or 2 this morning as soon I hang the new light I'm gonna close my room off to 4x4 in preparation for winter I've got a bit of work ahead of me insulating & such I have a small electric heater with an adjustable thermostat I'll be using I'm gonna turn my light back on the 14 th. I'm wanting that X-mas bud as well

Well CRAZY bitch I can't really control her now and I'm using every trick in the book, she is so aggressive! Like day 3 or 4 in flower and yikes, the next 10 days are gonna be chaotic before she settles on growth lol My phones dead so I can't take pics but you will have to take my word for it she is a monster. I have had to start my defoliation process now quite aggressively to keep up with her growth. She will look nice for photos tomorrow night when I get my phone sorted. Actually been flushing her since last night was a slight ph drop and ppm rise.. I will leave her flushing through tonight as the ppm and ph has been stable as you get and its put the colour right back in her. She drunk a whole 1100 ppm res prior nearly when the ppm incremented about 15ppm lol... So I'm not worried about lack of nutrients lol, she will go back on them tomorrow at 1100ppm again after a good 48 hours of flushing, see how that goes down.

I would say there is deffo g for watt yield potential here if the genetics play ball with me.. Game on!

Ah wicked mate looks like everyone has recovered! haha my phone still won't charge so unable to take pics atm. Hopefully I can get a new lead tomorrow and it sorts it. Job + 1.5 year old pit bull+ one beast of a plant = busy lol

Regarding the cheesus as some kind of update: screen is full she's probably stretched like 10 inches or so at the end of the first week so its been carnage to keep it even while spreading to the sides still. The branches stiffened up in like the first 3/4 days of flower Id say.. so knowing the strain now I would have vegged longer and been more aggressive with shaping her and removing parts of it - she is a beast lol Only just starting to see flowers develop now compared to say my last 2 grows particuarl Tangilope - this is slow development lol Im expecting this to take the full 11 weeks for sure as general analysis..

Been a bit confusing really the last 3 days on the readings to find out part of it was my ppm meter was fucked and my ph meter out of calibration LOL so had to shell out 50e on a new and decent EC meter so now on il be switching to EC.

So tomorrow morning before work I will but her on around a 1.8ec 5.6 PH feed see how that goes down now I can get accurate readings lol.. Luckily I spent most of it flushing and making the new solution for today is when I realised something not right big time, but Im pretty sure she got a bit of a big feed and a low ph but doesn't seem to have effected any consumption or look/growth. Hopefully can update with pics tomorrow night and she is back to the norm, as I say you wouldn't notice about dodgy ph and ppm readings so why maintaining a proper feed, she prob v hungry too causing the decrease on ph and ppm/ec - I always seem to have dilemmas to overcome growing but strong reminder to be on the ball, bit slap dash bash with this hahaha

yea same system, im away from home with work at the moment bad timing because shes growing an inch a day n haven't filled the net, iv a 2 year old bull dog and a reluctant girlfriend who i can just convince to check in on it for me and maybe mix nutes but training into the net...no chance haha hopefully ill be able to pull it under when in get back in 2 days.

iv counted about 15 tops before i left hoping for around 20 after training then just let her go and keep her topped up, id love a big remote res for the waterfarm because it needs to be topped up daily :/

hahaha feel your pain bro! Yer I'm lucky I can check on her often or I would have probably been screwed big time, just hoping next 24 hours gets back on track on my meters (cos she looks 100% healthy) just don't like seeing ph ever in the 4s hopefully its not roots :S

Nice 20 tops = lots of bud mate woop will be sure to check in on her. I dunno how many tops Cheesus has, can count when get photos up (hopefully if it don't die or my phone don't hahaahaa)

So end of day 9 of flower - She is back with vengeance now oooohhhh yer. The guy at the growshop sold me hardwater micro when I asked for soft... Stupid me did not look on the bottle to check as one of my wtf is going on.. So another factor to sever PH drops!!!! - Anyway she is FULLY back ono track couldn't be happier with the readings and the growth today last night and today has been INSANE - literally nuts Im actually running out of space lol. Her EC was 1.8 this morning and went to 1.4 between the morning and my lunch hour - she been on an ec of 2 since and taking very happily for the last 7 hours with a lot of water consumed - PH solid as you like on 5.5-5.6 after drinking the whole res. Pheeeeeeeeeew.

Anyway hopefully I can update properly tomorrow

I use the soft water micro as my tap water ranges from 40-70 ppm that could be your source of weird ph. readings

Yer man that and the calibration was waaaaay out but higher so its probably what saved me. My tap waters 80/90ppms so absolutely no need for hard water. It will throw the ph straight down yep, guess reason I didn't see it before cos ph tends to rise quite a lot in veg whilst the opposite in flower naturally... Tap water in Spain was 320ppm so I used hard water there with great results (I had RO for Skywalker though).

Shame about the ppm meter packing up I just prefer it dunno why lol. Anything above 1100 ppm it would jump between 1500 and 2000 ppm, calibrated it same thing. So yer just invested in best ec meter I could get my hands on. Too much on a push to get some bud to be taking risks lol Gonna start calibrating my ph meter once or twice a week now too lol.

Anyway all rosey, feeling confident with her again. See what cya thinks tomorrow!

Pics as promised. Was in a massive rush to get pick up some hash so don't really do it justice. Il get some proper ones tomorrow night. Tried to flush and she sent the ec to 0.1 LOL so I have put a 2.05 feed in before lights off.

Oh one more for luck of the underneath. Completely slap dash and bash i been stupidly busy this week and all the nightmares with meters and nutrients. She will get some love tomorrow

Cheers mate, she's doing good. She is emptying the res at 2.05, but a 2.08 feed in and down to 1.37 EC after 5 hours. PH solid at 5.7 what I put it in at. Hungry bitch lol Just gonna keep it steady though I don't like going too much on the juice. Will check your thread later.

I like to defoliate moment starts budding everywhere, save wasting any energy on stuff what is getting ripped off anyway. Reason some of the big fan leafs are removed on some heads is to control the height. she just shot up 15 inches or so! but she should settle and fill out again as roll into week 3

I had to top off with 1 gal. of water today later on I'll check ppm. she is not so far being a heavy feeder I'm thinking I'll stay at the 800-900 ppm. as that seems to be the sweet spot for her your cheesus has reached monster status like Godzilla consuming everything in her path you've done very well

yer man just keep her steady on the ppm, she will tell you when she wants more as it will just keep going down even after tops offs with water and hahahahaha yer she is a monster - she emptied a whole res at 2.08 ec which i think is around 1200 odd ppm :S Leaves really pointing upwards though looking real nice. Crazy growth again in the last 24 hours.... Don't really wanna go much higher on the juice but she might need to go up to 1300 cos of sheer mass on her lol Not been easy though!! The pics don't really show my struggle lol

I just hope she stops growing upwards in the next 2 days but bud development starting to really kick off now so SHOULD be cool.
