During veg I keep the lights about 10 inches above the canopy. During flowering I keep it also at 10 inches, but when I use shooting powder I move it 14-18 inches above the canopy.

Thanks CUrly! Just getting things dialed in with the LEDs finally. They are dense as fuck and pretty big! Especially for an OG/Bubba Strain.

2 500watt blackstars with a power draw around 608 watts. I've had 6 plants in this 4 x4 tent. I average 2-3 zips per plant. Most I got was 18 zips out of 6 la confidential

So tomorrow is harvest day! Ive had my lights out since 7pm thursday and I will begin to harvest tomorrow morning. Ive checked trichs from the bottom to the top of each plant and they are 95% milky 2%amber and 3% clear. These buds have definitely fattened up the last couple days! Look how thick those top colas are, its as big as a 17oz bottle of water! Pretty impressive for some LEDs eh? I know some people are skeptical still about LED grows, and the capabilities of growing dense fat buds. Well I was one of those peeps, but now I am a believer! I took some pics of the bottom buds, and they aren't popcorn either! Dense lil rocks! So no question about penetration! I could have probably grown 4 plants under one light, but Im paranoid and I like to "Go big or Go Home", so I threw in 2 to give me a great footprint. I have made me initial investment on these lights back a few times over now, and I still have at least another 40,000 hours of life left out of these LEDs. Anyways, Ill take some pics of my harvest tomorrow. IM just preparing for the pain in the ass harvesting myself. Thats why I dropped down to 4 plants, I couldn't handle harvesting for 12-14 hours! All I do is cuss and feel like im in bud trimming twilight zone. Im sure Ill have some of that tomorrow...lol

So yesterday I harvested 4 plants from 9:30am till 6:30 pm, and I wanted to kill myself! I was so achey and exhausted after I couldn't find the energy to post in my journal. Anyways, I HATE harvesting with a passion! Everytime Im doing it IM cussing, smoking, cussing, smoking and wishing I didn't grow! Lol, but after its all done I feel better. Man its really hard work! Anyways, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I got dense buds all the way down the whole plant. The top 3/4 of each plant is frosty and danky as shit! The other 1/4 buds were hidden under that thick canopy towards the center of the main stem, and those buds look lime green, not so trichy and actually looks kinda premature. I should have harvested half the plant and let the other half catch up, but I already trimmed my first plant and discovered all the premature buds after the fact. Its all my fault, I should have trimmed the canopy so those buds could get more light, but I didn't want to rip off too many fan leaves in the process. Ive decided the best way to grow with these LEDs is going to have to be a SCROG. Then my plants will have an even canopy and all the buds will have direct light. I can trim anything below the screen so the plant allocates all its energy to the primo buds. Oh wells, live and learn. Im still going to get some dank ass buds from 75% of each plant, so IM not complaining. And maybe those premarture lime green buds at the bottom, might get you high? Ill just try to dump that off at my dispensary or something... So here are some pics of harvest. By the time I got to the 4th plant I did a real half ass job and was basically ripping fan leaves off with my hands. Im planning for a 4 day dry, so wed ill manicure it up for my mason jars. Thats another 3-4 hours of work! UGH. Fuck this.lol

So I just finished manicuring another 4 hours and got a final weigh in for all you. I only weighed in the 75% of dank buds and put the rest aside for cooking, keif, etc. My final weigh in for 4 plants of primo buds was :275.5 grams.
That is an average of 2.45 oz per plant excluding the undesirable buds. I will taste test later tonight.

Looks great man some fire for sure........ You can always use those lime green buds from the bottom to make some great hash or edibles, thats what i like doing with my popcorn......Peace!
