We had a job welding stellite #6 to the outer part of some extruder screws. Shit had to be held at 500 degrees while you were welding. Those poor fuckers had to stand over those screws while they slowly turned over a gas burner. They did this in full leathers in the dead of summer. You could only stand there for a few minutes at a time.
