Or move to the Mojave Desert we're never over 87 here.
I spent 3 rotations of 4-8 weeks at a time in the Mohave at the National Training Center aka Ft Irwin, CA. It was the most miserable place, weather wise, I have ever been. 120 degrees in the daytime and 40 degrees at night. Not to mention the lovely Mohave Green rattlesnakes and having coyotes brave enough to walk into our tents at night to steal food. I also learned sand is an amazing substance that is able to get into just about everything, especially the stuff you really don't want it in.
