It's temporary ... you get lots of play and drink time once they move out.... Things change when one has kids, no time for play and serious drinking ...

Fresh strawberries work well in scones. Save me one, I’m headed past you next Saturday on my way up to Tahoe.I have decided I shall latibulate until Spring. I'm skipping Winter and enjoying my 80 degree grow rooms

That would work too, but scones are already fairly dry. Often fruit is added to bring a little moisture back into the mix, where as any freeze dried fruit soaks up whatever moisture that IS there like a sponge. If you freeze dry the strawberries first, you will thank me.
Thanks Meta, these are frozen. Will they work?Fresh strawberries work well in scones. Save me one, I’m headed past you next Saturday on my way up to Tahoe.
Yeah, just chop ‘em up a bit, maybe drain them in a sieve. Alternatively, you could take half the strawberries, blend them up with sugar and cream, and use that for the wet ingredients. Itll impart a pink hue, and help keep them a little more moist. Thanks Meta, these are frozen. Will they work?
They'll be back. Speaking from experience.3 years, seven months, and some change.
