Morning everyone, hope all had a wonderful weekend and stayed safe.....
Almost done with my soils, still got a little to do, plants are already in the ground and in they're prespective spots, even started some experiments too....just got a little more to do and i'm done with soil this season.....

Grass is greening up in the Midwest but forsythia have not yet bloomed. That's my guide to prune/feed rose bushes.

i hardly ever prune my rose bushes
Looking at them over the weekend, it might be something i might need to do at a later date this year, they're all over the place this round

Yup same here in North East,this is ours last year bottom is full of day lilies that are a few inches tall now. Weather is crazy started back landscaping middle of March and weather idiots saying I don't see any cold coming in,boy they were off. High of 30 today, everything started poking out from that warm weather few weeks ago, just hope fruit trees don't bloom to fast.

not used them and see mixed reviews on social media FWIW.
Seem par for the course on the east coast. Big downside to my job is work is weather dependant. Found my old seed bag and throw them in a soak we'll see what germinate, melons, peppers, cucs and eggplant. No maters so I'll probably pick up some nursery started vines this yearGray cloudy day, seems like good nap weather, although the weather doesn't really matter to me.

Yep. Fucking SNOW in the forecast today and tomorrow. I don't mind because starting on Saturday it is a stretch of weather in the 60s as far as the eye can see. We've had SO much rain lately that the May flowers should be fucking amazing

It was a good weekend. I had a cool fundraiser gig with my string trio, and I got rid of a quarter pound of dank and a couple of 8 balls. Made about $1400 including the gig, which was great because my winter savings were running low. It is def a valuable skill to be able to hoard the riches of a very successful Winter season and make that stretch through the Spring. That is much easier when you no longer have rent nor a mortgage to pay, so glad I bought this house outright for cash. Hope everyone's week is off to a good start...

My nephew has a produce farm with a variety of vegetables. He does the majority of his sprouting in a warm/dark environment. Then into a greenhouse before planting in the field.

Not commenting at all about the product, I have absolutely no experience with it at all. I will say that I will never ever come home with a soil, amendment, or anything that either Wal-mart or Lowes keep in their outdoor garden center ever again.
Each store provided me with a catastrophically unmanageable fungus gnat infestation that wiped out my grow both times. Literally didn't see one thing while I poured the soil into the pots. Two days after watering, they exploded out of everything. I tossed the new clones, the flowering plants that had just been transplanted and bug bombed the entire house and started over from seed both times. I think they're selling bags of pure fungus gnat eggs that are dormant until watering for shits and giggles.
I'm more than happy to spend $5-10 more per bag for what they sell at the hydroponic gardening store where they would have a very bad reputation if they let that kind of crap happen to their product. If they did that to one of the growers getting 5 pallets of soil for their grow houses, it's not likely they'd stay in business very long.
