Blaze & Daze

I have some more pictures. The clones are growing. The plan is to move them outside into SIP pots when the days get long enough. I'm surprised they grew, I picked one lower bud and divided it into 3rds. 2 sections rooted but the actual top did not

The plan this grow has been a SOG. I clipped most of the lower branches, trying for one main cola from each plant. So far so good. At first I was disappointed with how little frost I have but then I did the math and they're only a couple of weeks into flower.
I started out planting a dozen Slusherz seeds I got 11 sprouts 3 males. I planted 12 Mint Cake and got 0 sprouts, we'll try it again later. I planted 4 GDP got 4 sprouts all female. 6 Gazurple seeds gave me 2 females and 2 males. The auto self sprouted 2 females. So we have a happy tent with 16 females. I've been adding spacers to keep the canopy more or less uniform.

Perfect first post on page 2420, garden looking good, stretching right up.

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I put this first batch of new clones into flower. They are growing ridiculously fast, but aero will do that. I've had to LST and tuck these ladies multiple times, and today they need it again. I need everything to slow down a little in order to have easier 3 week perpetual harvest, I think I'll cut the clones way smaller to achieve this, plus turn down the veg lights even more than I have. It is SO strange to have the grow room at 84f, my brain is screaming at me, "WTF are you doing???" but I have faith that it is the right thing to do with LEDs. The ladies seem to dig it.

I just cut these moms to nothing less than 2 weeks ago, and even at 50% brightness they are growing back too fast -

The veg unit plants are almost at the light, no way I can wait another 8 days to put into flower. I'm gonna have to do it earlier and just let them flower a little longer...

IMG_1186.JPEG

I purposefully didn't even turn on the light over the cloner so they'd take longer to root. Guess what? They rooted even faster with just indirect light from the tent! I guess I don't need that light anymore...

Almost all cuts are are fully rooted at day 10, and I need them to be in there for about 21 days. Calm the fuck down, ladies. You will get your turn. Jesus.

I'll come up with ways to slow things down, but it is a great problem to have. LEDs, high room temps, ultra fast growth, etc., are all new to me. It's cool having to learn new shit after a decade of the same old ways. Onward and Upward...

Yea 82/84 perfect what was the temp you'd run with other light? I know a lot shoot for 82 and reading a article saying higher than that ruins turpines and such but I grow outdoors mostly so.

I always ran 82 with hps in sealed w/co2 rooms. Supposedly even warmer is optimal for co2 enriched rooms but i found quality to suffer.
When I made the switch to LED’s from DE/hps i found with 82 my yields suffered, even with the same readings on my par meter and growing most of the same strains. I bumped it up a little to more like 84/85 and yields came back and i didn’t notice any terp reduction. That was also with co2.

Shift starts in an hour. 2.4 miles walked, half a doink smoked, half a pot of coffee drank. no nicotine gum as of yet.
Its been a week. Anxiety is ticking north despite the hopes that the physical activity would negate it.
Still gotta bite the bullet and get on with the day, less I decide to swallow it.

Be kind to others and yourself.

They're great beside mashed potatoes, but currently out of season. I chased them off the pond and into the field to the west a few mornings ago - only to be busted by my bird loving 6 year old daughter waiting to get onto the bus. She was rather stern regarding my action.

Found some planter ideas you might like!
:P

I have heard they are tasty.

Those planters are great!

I ran my room with 2 1000w HPS and no CO2 at 74f, and was happy with the yield. Now under LEDs I've been running it at 84f, is that too high? I can easily get it down to 82f. Please advise, I don't know what I'm doing here...

84.5 8-)

My daughters setup that i hooked her up with, LED’s, she ran 84-85 even when she ran it ventilated for a minute during the cold months. Still crushed it.

I def wouldn’t even fart around with less than 82F

I miss busking, I haven't done it since 2019. I found some cool local spots around my new area where I think it would be a hit. I lost my last tip bucket in the move, so I decided to make another one. Check it -

I was a little coked up, so I rushed it. I pressed a little too hard on the sharpie, so it ran a bit. Oh, well. Nice enough for the street. I read years ago that tip jars with a face on them tend to increase tips by 30%+. I have found that to be true in my many years of experience. The weather is warming up significantly next week, I may take this bad boy out for a test run on Sunday. Wish me luck...
