Lennard the bleach didnt really "discolor" anything. It just kills anything living in the shingle and takes the aged effect out of the wood. Thats probably closer to the real color around its production time. Give it a few months and the colors (mildew, moisture, etc) will settle back in and they will slowly age/color. If you stain it close to the color of the other wood... after a few months the bleached wood will age/change color and it'll be noticable again. Could just bleach the whole thing and it'll all look nice =]
