I hope to have a couple more break the surface before I leave for two days tomorrow.

Yeah that's pretty much how it goes, around the fourth or fifth week they usually stretch up and out.
What he said... EXACTLY!
using the size at the end of week 5 expect another 4in of vertical growth past wherever they are at that point... but thats about as tall as they will get! After that point its more about "filling out" then growing upwards...

I am lucky that the two in the center wont get any bigger. They are in the 7th week and starting to fill in nicely. My best guess is that they are Onyxs. I have one fem onyx seed so I will just have to compare photos when I grow it

On a side note look at all the pots without bushes sticking out of them yet. In 5-6 weeks it's going to turn into a full blown jungle up there

Heck yeah man! I love it when it gets all jungly! I think I am going to germ 15 of the recovered seeds in 2 weeks... which will be about 3 days prior to harvest of my current 3. Ideally I am hoping for a solid 6+ females out of that germ batch (giving fudge factor for non germing and males)... the goal will be to have 6-9 females continually growing and possibly staggered down the road for a more perpetual harvest...

Those are some nice looking girls nugs. I went out of town for one fucking day and some how one of my plants just decided it was tired of living. My two bigger girls got a little droopy and lost a few lower leaves. The BHDs are all popping up I have started seven and five of those are showing green. I will let the healthiest male pollinate all ladies.

It got separation anxiety teflon, it just missed you way too much. :(

So even if you get, say, 2 males and 5 females, you'd still pollinate all of them? Well shoot me some seeds! Haha, just kiddin', can't wait to check that out, I love watching the breeding grows.

All I am going to say is this (with a hidden grin) .... you WILL want to grow this again... I havent smoked/tested/or otherwise but I can tell you the smell now coming from my tent is like a blue hawaiian punch... with a bit of "funk" added. I have thoroughly looked all over my ladies and 2 are preggers (but minimally thank god!) it appears I will recover a total of about 60 seeds from this run. The plan for me at this point is to plant 10 redcup BHDs in 2 weeks in hopes for 3 solid females... then I will repeat this every 3 weeks until I am harvesting 3 plants every 3 weeks... no more than 9 at any given point... (I have a fluoro 4ft I use for the first 10 days).

I hope your babies recover teflon... I will send you the karma bug to your garden... the only one you want in there! =)

I will probably only keep one male, the healthiest of course. Here are pics of the newborns. There is one more that has not come up yet.

I figured I would take a pic of my fried plants too.

Now here is where we get back to the fundamentals off the thread. I.E. the dummy part. I sprayed all of my plants with neem oil concentrate according to directions on the bottle before I left. What I have learned since is that they cant be under the lights after spraying. It will burn them the fuck up. The lesson I take from all of this is to check with more experienced growers before I use anything new to make sure there isn't anything I need to be careful of when applying anything to my girls.

Thanks guys. I have high hopes for the blues. After growing the twenty seed mix I am ready to grow a more uniform crop. Repetition is the key to getting it dialed in better.

They look healthy. It is nice to know that no matter what else happens you have the stock to support yourself.

YOU KNOW IT! Yeah out of the 60+ I have I would say 10% or less look "weak". Most are fat and tiger striped and appear to be comparable to the ones fresh out of the breeder pack.

I am sticking with my plan of dropping 20 in red cups in about a week and keeping in red cups til sex... keeping only females.
