did it grow fast. mine is going so slow compared to everything else...a bunch of other strains in the tent. i might have to pull it aside before flowering to give it an extra week or two.

The first one is a wonderful smoke already even though not quite cured yet. The effects are VERY calming, nearly erases stress completely, kills my back pain dead too. Ugh decisions decisions.

try running them both again? I don't personally mind foxtail buds if the taste and effect is there

I think I will. The other thing I like about this strain is that it seems that cuttings root super easily. Maybe for the next run I'll treat them to extra TLC, and maybe drop the light-cycle to 11/13 in the last two weeks and see if that helps with the foxtailing.

I still say LemonHoko's blueberry is the best. Its such great daytime weed, no stone, all sativa euphoria.

Never had it, but had an all sativa blueberry in 2006 that was amazing....most blueberry teros I've ever had - straight up blueberry....whereas the pre 98 was indica, but had the blueberry muffin terps....but those muffin terps were the strongest terps I've ever had...which makes it stand out as the best imo, it was also more potent than the sativa version

90's Blues
I had 3 females all were different phenos I haven't found any actual blueberries but only have grown these 3 plants so far.
I remember old blueberry that was circling Southern California in the 90's & what i grew from a clone in 2000 was a lot more pungent than what i harvested but again i only grew 3 plants & have more beans to go through so take this review lightly.

Smell - a mix of sweet floral, fruity & a bit of berry of some type, medium pungency while flowering but dry buds have a lighter odor.

Taste - same as smell but a bit lighter...it's not bad but feel more pungent strains taste stronger & better.

Inhale/Exhale - Smoke is smooooooth i can take huge hits & barely notice the smoke fill my lungs.

High - Hi I'm high...very pleasant/enjoyable/uplifting feel good sort of euphoric weed mostly felt in the head great daytime weed you can still function on, It's my favorite strain to take with me on mountain bike rides & enjoy some scenic views while i toke.

Potency - 5/10 it's not really potent by most strains that exist today, but that's fine for me i don't always want a dome thumper with 90's blues i can smoke through out the day & still function & not feel panicky/paranoia,anxiety overwhelmed or drained/unmotivated that i sometimes feel with other strains especially out in public or on the mountain trails.

I think there is a possibility to find blueberry & blueberry muffins in them you can pick up on some berries & something else that almost resemble lightly baked bread but its hard to describe...
I'll point out i used ph perfect & others like josh blue i believe uses organic i believe that can effect aromas/taste/potency as well

I just grew & used some Peaksseedsbc Blueberry pollen to hit my 90's blues females with hopefully it will help bring out more berry terps.
Hopefully this was somewhat helpful for anyone that is interested in this strain.

Sounds similar to other releases from DJ.. lighter flavor than desired but smells nice and has a good mid-potency high. How did the peakseedsbc blueberry compare?

The peaks blueberry bought in (2013) was very similar to 90's blues a little more pungent, sweeter & more candy smell with some light berry tones in a couple phenos but most phenos were lighter than 90's blues very light & bland taste with a very indica type stone. Unfortunately i recently only got 3 seeds to sprout out of 8 i had left.

I grew Dj's Blueberry from around (2010) gave off a more pungent floral/berry/incense aroma/taste than peaks or 90's BB with medium potency & also an indica stone that is similar to the peaks BB. But most phenos leaned towards the incense afghani side with dj's BB.

I'll have to cross them all together in the future search through each line of BB & cross the most berry phenos.

I grew Blueberry x C99 from joey weed about 15+ years ago & i found a pheno the dry bud smelled exactly like Blueberry muffins
But didn't keep it cause it gave me major racy/paranoia.

And the Blueberry i grew back in 2000 from clone i got from a dispensary in L.A. smelled/taste strong just like Blueberry syrup from IHOP even tasted amazing with a heavy duty stone everybody loved it, sadly i think those days are gone forever. Been after it ever since but haven't found it & will give up now lol.

The closest Blueberry muffin strain i found recently is Blueberry muffins from Humboldt seed co. its a bit artificial smelling,
even though it has nothing to do with the actual blueberry line but it's really nice. (green phenos are best)

Thanks for the honest reviews.

I'd be disappointed with anything NOT like your IHOP clone, or the blueberry x c99 from Joey weed lol (I love racey highs, but hardly anything gives me that feeling anymore).

So I'm glad I stayed away from 90s blues, it's pretty much how I expected it would turn out.

And 100% agree on Blueberry Muffin....it's nice, but the artificial smell/taste is weird....also I'm not a huge fan of the high, sometimes makes me feel physically ill tbh....but the best version I had of it was green with light blue streaks going through the nugs

Appreciate your take! That kind of confirms what I've read on the peak blue. It's unfortunate that taste isn't there on most of these. Breeders choice 2 was similar - smelled amazing but just didn't taste like much. From DJ's recent work, josh at bluestar said that anything with the happy pussy mom, or the old time moonshine work will have the most flavor. I'm mostly looking elsewhere for strong blueberry tastes - some of bodhi's work for crosses, maybe blue star's hybrids, but for mostly pure, blue digiberry, blue bonnet f2s, and some seed increases of older blue lines like sagarmathas.
