Yeah, my main problem is most likely because of heat. If I keep it only 12 inches away, the tops of the plant is like 90 degrees. Im hoping that the coolers with ice will make a major difference, that and im going CMH for more heat reduction too. I have 400w lamp for about 6 sqft of space.

You DO have quite the mix there.
You should have a ball finding all those phenos too !

Jesus, I can smell those purple buds from here. Good luck dude. Time to get yo' waiting game on.

In the final week of 4 original hazes. Did not know how long they take to finish up before I got em.

PRAYING it is worth the wait. How long do these purples take til harvest? They too tasty not to invest in.
Thanks for droppin in AND posting, GB ! lol
Waiting is right.
I would like to kick in bloom on May 1, but we'll see since they'll be roughly 6 weeks into veg at that point and TODAY is Veg Day 21.
I expect to be going 9 weeks with most, if not all.
Yeah, those Hazes will take you longer.
Some go 16 - 20 weeks, with the pure landraces.
Speaking of Hazes.......

This is Breeders Choice Purple Haze Ix, a pure landrace Haze that'll go16+ weeks !!
Can't remember if I have 1 or 2 ten packs !! toot toot
Yep, I'm TEASING ya'll with my shit !! lmao
No need to ask where I got them bcuz it's the same 2 places I've been speaking of.
Go back and read if you missed it, not reposting.

This most def an outdoor plant with HELLA 3x+ stretch and I dont have the room indoors for them, not even with a SCROG.
That shit ain't purple..............IT'S BURPLE !! LMAO = BLACK + PURPLE.

I cant agree more Flo! I see a lot of people who buy the totes online from various stores and they seem to always run into root problems and then you have some solid info on this site about beneficial bacterias and how to brew your own tea's, I dont have to worry about these problems because my reservoir is always 65-68 degrees and I live in the hottest state in this country. I'm not knocking anyone grow methods or using "bennies" just one less problem I dont have to worry about & less problems are good!
Amen BH !

Hey faithful, well of course u got a mention:) I'm excited to learn from both u and your bro!.............N I'm quiet fond of lil bros emoticons myself, shhh;)

Double Thank You, GrowMomma !! lol

Gotta admit, I'm curious about CMH myself, I just don't want to buy a fuggin magnetic ballast to run them shits.

Hey faithful, well of course u got a mention:) I'm excited to learn from both u and your bro! And I can't help to be terrified of the TD lol, it will be several grows away unfortunately. For one we've never cloned before, n I def want a good mother off it.

I have a feeling the coolers are going to be a necessity on into the summer, temps reach 100+ here. I kinda like the round Lowes ones, I take it they can be modified to work identically like the standard black buckets.

I also see you use the same foiler mix I got, I dont have the shultz or whatever yet. I havent really been usin it much, shit I forget lol. Ever get any burn spots, I see so many ppl talkin abt the water drops magnifying. Right now we are 24 on so no down time to spray.

N I'm quiet fond of lil bros emoticons myself, shhh;)

don't be scared of the TD, they seem to be real hardy, well mine are, topped all 3 but each differently, just to see, u know how it is, well they all bounced back stronger than ever, i only had 1 nute burn issue, & they love that superthrive, i'm only using 1 drop per gal in res,

those 5 gal coolers will work the same as the buckets only better for obvious reasons, many diff variations in design each of us try & improve on what we see..lol, principle still the same

yep mine seem to enjoy a good spray of seltzer water & superthive, once a day good spray then lil mist later on, mine like it, i've read all kinds of babble on here about the seltzer water being bs, i figured only way to know was to try, so i did, has not had no ill effect at all if anything they look healthier, so i carry on doing it, i'll keep doing so daily with the superthrive through veg, then once i switch i'll just use plain seltzer water, sodium free of corse...lol, spray them for 2-3 weeks, then once pistols start developing i'll stop spraying, i think the burn spots & water drops magnifying is due to 1. too heavy a spray & 2. too close to bulb, too hot

happy growing

the darker da berry..the sweeter da juice...that burple bitch is sexy!
Thanks DF !!
I'll get around to them one day.

Veg Day 21, yesterday.
Pic with 400w Horti and both 125w 6500K CFL's (10,000 lumens each).

Today, plus some close ups.
The HPS only comes on for 12hrs, to acclimate them for bloom in 3 weeks plus the benefit of a dual spectrum with the CFL's, while the CFL's are now 20/4 to help speed up sexing.

Next 2 pics are of the SR71 PK x Appalachia's in the middle of the left cooler.
This one I topped for 4 colas.

This one I topped for 6 colas.
The 2 plants are SO uniform, I want to see what the final yield of both girls will be.
I'm saying girls because I have FAITH !
For instance, it's known (if you did homework prior to growing it) that C99 yields more topped and therefore should be.........even her creator said so.

Thanks Evo and H4V !!

I want to SCROG, but it may be hard to resist the temptation to bloom in 3 weeks.
Although, they'll be 6 weeks old and should show sex by then.
These DPD are apparently slow veggers.
Look at them compared to everything else.
I don't want to set up 2 diff nettings.

If you've got the time I could use some company over in my journal. So far it's just me keeping track for my own records. I'm about ten days behind you.

waazz up flo...awsome progress on the "ladies"fingers crossed, they look awesome...did u ever run ur 125w in a reflector or some type of hood??....wondered if there was a specific reason u run vertical opposed to horizontal...would ur coverage be greater with horizontal opposed to vertical....or maybe in ur size space it doesnt matter.....just curious.....and are the 125w, are they mogul base or standard socket size? thanks dude...ganja

Hey Ganja, how are you ?!
Thanks for the positive faith in my ladies ! lol
I never ran the 125w CFL's in a hood or horizontal.
We actually get more use of our lights when hung vertical because it shines in 360 degress.
Going horizontal, the top half of our lights must shine upward then be bounced/reflected back down, which causes us to actually lose some light in terms of lumens although it can be minor in some circumstances.
Since they hang vertical, my light shines all around, with very little shining above the MOGUL bases (there's your answer...lol).
I purchased the mogul bases attached cord and plug from a local hydro shop, but they had to pre-order them from some company out of the Miama, Florida area somewhere.
They were around $15 a piece if I remember correctly.
I have 4 of the mogul cord sets, 2 for each set of 6500K and 2700K CFL's I own.
The CFL's I got from Worm's Way for $54 I believe, and they have built in ballast which is the thick, white piece with the open grooves for air/venting above the light itself.
They always do me good in Veg and probably why I haven't bought a 400w MH for veg instead, especially since they are 10,000 lumens each (9,500 for the 2700K's).
I get full use of the light with them being so close to my plants and my tent being 2.6 sq ft (31.5" x 31.5").
I also like how I can run them with my 400w HPS at the same time, which I wouldn't be able to do with an MH in my set up.

Yah I see what you mean. I work with wood so I just throw a few scraps together and staple some chicken wire to the frame and done.

I'm definitely going to be ordering some more seeds soon. Not to impressed so far with germination of the seeds I bought.

I still may end up putting the whole screen set up in there.
The DPD will just do what they can when they stretch I guess.

Well the SR71 and the Chernobyl are neck and neck.
Just the DPD's are slower, but with mad roots like the others.
