Anyone ever heard of 420 bong cleaner? Im sure there are other types as well but my convenient smoke shop only carries this for 20$ a bottle... Does anyone know a good website to order anything for bongs?

okay, but again, I don't think it works as well. And you can get a gallon of grain alcohol for $8 ... And a half gallon jug of epsom salt for $2...
And your bowl won't stink like rubbing alcohol afterward.

Ive used Dr. Pepper to dissolve some pretty nasty grime. Rinse well with hot water afterwards, but it will un-stick some caked on crap, especially if soaked.

I would rather drink the alcohol than use it on a bong
How does it work any better than isopropyl and regular salt?
My bong comes out perfectly clean, how can your way get it cleaner than spotless?

My favorite abrasive is called Resinate. You can get it from your local head shop for like $10 a bottle. The price is a little steep, but your glass will look like the day you bought it, plus it has a lingering aftertaste of honeydew melon, so that's pretty rad.

Some states do still allow 190 proof grain alcohol to be sold, but many states have limited it to 151, which puts it below iso 91%.
Either way, iso is cheaper. Use rock salt....

A great method that works for me w/ my glass pipes for years is simple... i have all these things around the house allready anyways...
Mason jar... trash bag twist ties... pipe... boiling water... oven mits.... disinfectant wipes... paper towels/plate
Use some trash bag twist ties.. connect a few and wrap it around the pipe where the bowl is going to submerge into the jar last.. I usually wrap it wright where the stem meets the bowl.. I use a tea kettle... get the water to a good boil and then pour it into the mason jar, fill it up about 3/4 of the way, depending on how much the water will rise when you put the piece in it the mason jar... Dip the pipe into the mason jar.. Let it sit there for a minute or so.. Then, if you take it and kind of shake it a bit inside the mason jar (gotta make sure twist ties are tied together properly), you'll start seeing a lot of junk pour out the mouthpiece... After about 5 minutes of doing this I suggest emptying the mason jar (oven mitts here)... lay the pipe onto a plate or some paper towels... use a paper towel to wipe the inside of the bowl (any resin that is in there will come right over, like brand new... I pour the water in the mason jar down the toilet and flush it immediately to avoid a nasty resiny smell throughout the house... Fill the mason jar up w/ boiling water again, and repeat the above process again.. Given how old the pipe is and how dirty it is, it may take 3-5 times... and if it's really dirty, it may not get very clean at all after 5 times or more... Afterwards, use the disinfectant wipes to wipe the outside of the pipe to remove the stickiness from the resiny water it was submerged in.. But w/ newer pieces, if you do this every week or so, you can keep the pipe almost brand new... I really don't advise trying to dip it into the mason jar bowl first as i find that just makes buildup back into the bowl portion of the piece and is harder to get out if you flip the pipe and repeat the process again...
This post refers to bongs, so let me get to that one... A month or so ago i got me a nice new bong, short, thick glass for a nice price... I decided to try the mason jar method with it as well considering i got it for a cheap price...
I purchased a larger mason jar (pretty damn big i'll say).... I followed the same methods only this time didn't use twist ties as the bottom of the bong is dirty not the top so you don't have to fill the mason jar but about 1/2...
Placed the bong into the mason jar, water started pouring in through the hole the bowl normally goes into... It was kind of hard to see what was happening... but after a minute or so I was able to grab the top of the bong out of the jar and quickly take it out... the water in the mason jar was a very dark brown color... I used an old pair of oven mits in this instance (to throw away afterwards) to grab the bong and pour the water that was in the bong out into the sink... It came out very dark brown as well... I emptied the mason jar... filled it 1/2 way w/ boiling water again... put the bong in there again... after repeating all the process again...
I was amazed... the bong was nearly spotless w/ a bit of resin buildup in the bottom, but not much at all... wiped the outside down w/ some disinfectant wipes to remove the slight stickiness from the water having resin in it...
After about 30 minutes (pipe and bong methods), they're smokable and hit just like brand new...

I would rather not make cleaning the bong an event haha. Take 10 minutes out of your life and use 90% isopropyl alcohol and salt to clean your bong. You will be very mad at yourself for that long write up and for even wasting your time boiling water to clean the bong out. Seriously dude, get the isopropyl and salt, you will thank me later.
