Nothing new bekind, just what's in my bank to play with. My seedling mix is ready and will be making the final cut today. I was planning to do it yesterday but the daughters boyfriend was invited for a visit and screwed all that up.

That snow went almost as quick as it comes but I'll grab some on the next one for sure bro. Again, good luck picking something from that list.

Welcome dababydroman, thanks for stopping by.

Not a problem D. I'm not the best at getting around to peoples threads myself. Sometimes there's only enough time to catch up on the 600 before I'm dragged away by life. Thanks for stopping by and giving your time, I appreciate it.

The lighter, fluffier Jack Hammer came down today. She's still not quite finished by one of them had to come down. She's about 60% milky right now with a bit of amber. The other one has more solid buds and a better look and smell to her so she's staying in for a bit more.

Well off to Wakey Bakey on a nice blended oil.

Enjoy her. I harvested mine about 2 weeks ago and she is one of my favorite smokes. My only problem (other that the long bloom time) is she hits sooooo smooth that I over-indulge and often end up clearing my lungs. Definately a permanent part of my garden.

lol. Well that's good to hear. I haven't had any in a while so I'm looking forward to it. I also still have lots of pollen so I'll probably spluff a few buds and make some more for the bank.

It's from a Jack Hammer and it's been in a glass vial and stored in the same cool dry place as my seeds. I'm not sure how long pollen is viable for but I've heard it's good for some time.

Yeah I am wondering whats the shelf life on pollen when stored, anyone know an approximate time frame? Thanks

Oh, this and that Bobo. Have some new girls sprouting today so I'm babying them. Other than that, I harvested the 2nd Jack Hammer the other day which is much better than the other but still not what she could have been. I've got 2 more popping up though so if I get a nice girl I'm going to to a vertical scrog on the back wall of my tent. She's a branchy girl so I'm going to lollipop her and top her and spread her out like a peacocks tail. Anyway, will be working on some sort of update this weekend for sure so you can get whatever fill ya can from checking it out.

Chees Bobo.

You know what would work good for your jack hammer, is a tomato cage inside one of the bc pots. Thats what I did for the Acapulco cause she is a stretchy one too!!

Stored pollen should last a while. I have had some in a jar for ages now, just sitting behind my computer. It has produced 1 seed on a test bud so I'll be trying more of it soon....

Pollen is fairly robust isn't it?

There is pollen found in archaeological digs all over the world that is dated to being thousands of years old, and yet the pollen is still viable.
My dad used to harvest pollen off of various flowering plants, and various fruiting plants for later hybridizing, and he came across some about 20 years later that was still good to go.

Knowing how tenacious our beloved plants rare, it would stand to reason that the pollen is at least semi-durable.
But I could be wrong.
Sucks that so much info is still to be gleaned about the cannabis plant's biology, thanks to draconian laws that make in-depth botanical research risky for colleges & research institutes...

that's what I believe to be true Doob's. Lots of things in nature are robust, that's why it'll be around long after we are gone, lol.
