Breeders flowering timeframe: indoor and outdoor plus when you start counting

I’m so confused. You have a clone only strain and need to verify it’s quality by seeding it? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of a clone only strain since it’s quality has already been verified?

You have well known clones and then hunt it? Wut?
Just preservation bro.... Tissues are one way. But it's a Snapchat in time and can be pheno hunted back to original plus some others possible

Think family history. Pulling something new from the beginning...

I do a little research and been developing protocol all my career... I've done the same thing for growing... I've got my own formulas for everything and intervention also... Just trying to learn it more

Just always trying to exploit the scientific process. Diagnosis and some theories

Same thing with “ scoping triches “ …. Most believe there is a particular “ time “ or ratio of amber. That is only part of the harvest puzzle. Maturity will be different across plant - tops / mains mostly ahead of mids and lowers. Some take the tops and let the rest of plant “ finish “. Even autos.

In my opinion ( this only a opinion) I don’t base it on you tube vids or bookworms…. To me , flowering / blooms starts after stretch - when budsites are setup . During that stretch transition I still feed veg nutes. But when stretch STOPS or SLOWS i move to a bloom only feed.

But every grower has their own interpretation
Same

I do the same, I switch to bloom feed when stretch slows and bud sites start to take a dome shape

No. Not at all... Your twisting what I said into a narrative...

I breed rare landraces.... Brought directly from the source location in the world from seeds into verified clones and vet the results
It's one of a few different techniques I approach with breeding to create something unique

In this case
.. landraces Thai sent from a few miles near Burma along the Thai pensula. Then bred into purple punch

Getting the flowering time down to manageable.... Cause the landraces flower up to 16--20 week and purple punch is 8..
The progeny come out about 10 or 12PXL_20220802_152823727.jpgPXL_20220802_152828944.jpg weeks but I can bring it down further..

I have noticed that some breeders for autoflowers state the "flowering time" and do not add in the weeks in veg. BUT still advertise them as seed to harvest treating autoflowers like they dont have a veg cycle. Which confuses the hell out of beginners. Still takes 4-6 weeks veg time regardless unless you stress and stunt the hell out of them. I was tricked by this in my first grow. 55-65 days "seed to harvest" was advertised but they ment 55-65 days in flower. So in reality mine went 5 weeks veg and then 9 weeks in flower to harvest. False advertising. Lol now i learned my lesson and just plant a seed and watch it grow. No more wasting time on counting days unless im doing a journal or something for a website.

Oh I wasn’t trying to create a narrative. I was simply confused from what you stated. So you invented a well known purple punch clone only strain? Any other well known clones that you created? Have any pictures of your breeding setups?

Not fake advertising.... It's the same way we've been saying from the beginning. The four weeks are always assumed bubba. Flower time is what your seeing.... Not harvest time.

Putting words into your mouth? No you literally said it.
I got shit that's been steered from landraces seed into well known clones
You breed landraces and create well known clones. It’s literally what you said. Jealous? Of what? I’m still wondering which well known clones you created.

I didn't say that whatever...

I said I've got well known verified clones and I breed them. Didn't create anything that's widespread besides my Frankenstein...

But yeah the Thai project is going well. It takes years to get it done. Always a criticism somewhere in the world

Lol
Frankenstein....

Here they are a second time cycle for a pheno type. The first cycle was awesome but only a single plant. A few of those pots have up to six plants per pot ie. In Some of the smaller potsPXL_20220802_194242338.jpg
