Brewing beer

Samsquanch- Drinking good beer is not a race. Plus, I would feel sorry for your stomach after drinking more than a few Belgian-style beers. Which Belgian beers do you fancy? Try La Fin Du Monde(Unibrow-C-"eh"-N-"eh"-D-"eh") or Matilda(Goose Island-Chicago). Does anyone else use all-grain?

Ya I know it's not a race. It never starts out like that. Just hate to lose that nice buzz. I will try the La Fin Du Monde. It sounds pretty cool. If you can Try A light summer recipe and add a pound of huckleberry honey. You may have to order the huckleberry honey online. Depending where you live. Man that was the best batch I ever did hands down. Yes I use to brew all grain. But I don't have the mash ton anymore... And always use liquid yeast. Forget the dry yeast YUK!!!

Samsquanch-
There is NOTHING wrong with Dry Yeast! It's highly attenuating and finishes primary as fast as 1 day! I use to think that it was for homebrew yuppies, but I made an ESB and it finished primary in two days. I would say that liquid yeast gives you a better flavor profile for a particular style.
Good Honey is hard to come by these days with the bee shortages(yes BEE shortage).
And as far as not having a mash-tun....build one of these:

-It's cheap. It only loses a few degrees if any at all. BUT, it can only be used for single infusion.
Have you ever tried any Lambics?

I like the liquid because the variety of the different strains available now a days. I agree it is a little slower. But you can't beat the taste. I do use dry yeast sometimes. but for the most part I'm a true believer in the liquid. I have seen that site on the mash ton. Someday I will end up making one. You're right about the honey. It is getting harder to find. I've never tried Lambics. I will put that on the list as well. Being up here in the NW we have a pretty good selection of micro brews and what not.
