Those are clay pots? Clay will absorb some water. I'd say every day to every other day, depending on how much you water. Both frequency and quantity are important.

Plants do tend to droop a little just after a watering, you're right. I notice this in my plants and I don't purposefully get the leaves wet. That said, I just feel what I'm seeing in your plants is the effect of what's turning in to be habitual overwatering. Not a big deal, those leaves will die off/get pulled soon enough. As an experiment, try not watering for a whole day and see how your plants react. I'm pretty sure they won't mind. And it's perfectly OK for the top layer of dirt to dry out completely, preferred even. Once you get some new growth, the leaves are all pointed up at your LED's, and the edges are nice and sharp, try not watering until you see them wilt. The way the leaves behave does look very similar to overwatering, but the appearance of the leaves themselves won't change.

BS, just to clarify, plant roots can handle heavy watering as long as the medium they are in is fast draining'

My girls get 25 seconds of fast drip nutes every 30-45 minutes. They don't reach as high toward the lights at this stage as they are already beginning to since taking the pics. Basically, they never droop

PF: Yeah, I shoulda specified this is with soil. I don't know of any soil that will drain that fast.

PICO: I think you gave me rep recently, although I forget what for. It's the little sheriff star underneath the post you'd like to +rep, right next the report icon, but I'm thinking RIU will tell you to spread rep around before you give me anymore. Thanks for the thought, though. :hug:

I have one of those soil meters, just a cheap one, and its only ever been as low as mid-green on moist setting:

Should I use this as a reference or have you guys used things like this when growing in soil?

Pet, I know you told us what stain those are but I'm not that experienced with the differences on whats out there, could you fill me in real quick? Yours look really good to, I think but mine look maybe a little darker green. Also yours have those little tiny white dots on them too, I noticed these on my, what are they?

I think they're little oily secretions and/or little peach fuzz hairs. I think they're pretty.

On the multimeter, dunno how deep it is. Never used one, either. Try watering the plant every other day and see how "dry" the meter reads.

Got some more pictures in this morning, last night was the same drill as before but with no water added this morning. I am going to have the moister checked about lunch time and add some if needed. You can now clearly see the next set of leaves forming will be 3 lobs and it looks like they will be about an inch above the others. Poor Charley looks healthy but seems to be growing not so fast.

LED's are still running at 5.5 amps and about 38-39 volts. Both the 2700K and 5000K getting the same amount of power so the light is very heavy on the blueish side, as the 5000K LED is much more efficient.

Do I have to start feeding these guys nutes soon or can I veg and then flower with out. I wanted to try and veg them out almost all the way in this size pot and then go bigger for flowering.

Iirc, you're in FFOF. I wouldn't feed, it should have everything they need for some time.

Yeah, Charley better pick it up. You might want to pull her if she doesn't, the others might start to overshadow her unless you train them not to.

I got some 35mm film shots in the first week and they are developed and scanned, thought I would share them with you guys.

Tim had his moment.

And here are the latest pics on Day 16, also the next set of leafs forming seem to be 7 lobes and there are extra leafs starting where the first few sets attache to the base. I think the middle one is getting too much water or the light is different in the middle, looks droppy I think. I might not be able to save Charley but 5 out of 6 seeds is OK I think.

Lookin' good, though. Very healthy plants so far. BROAD leaves, holy smokes.

Haha, they don't normally look like that? I have been looking at other peoples grows and mine look a darker in color, could that just be the strain?

Shade of Green looks fine to me, they look very healthy. The broad leaves -especially on on the "droopy" plant- could be strain, could be light quality, could be the little bit of over watering, could be a combination of things, Idk. Now on the 24th picture I don't really know what's going on. Usually the tiers have an odd number of leaves; one, three, five, seven, nine, etc. That plant has four on one side, and 6 on the other. It's just an odd deformation. Probably just a genetic hiccup, I wouldn't be worried, I'm sure the plant will turn itself around on the next tier. It's just sort of funny to me, it's like a four leaf clover, they're not really supposed to be like that.
