They may not be organic but are used in the food industry and when used correctly are effective and "safe"(apples to apples with forbid, avid IMHO). You close up the room for 3 days, (no air in or out). After that I dispose of the strip and bust one out in about a month. It's all about prevention. My garden has been clean as a whistle for the past 6-7 months here, since I got rid of the recurring root aphids.

@ bowlful--you are right, you can't just stick a strip in there. where alot of new guys go wrong and the strips are ineffective. also I've seen people use them and not seal the room. not gonna work.

gotta treat, clean, attack them from multiple angles. I guarantee that it will AT LEAST increase your chances of ridding a regular mite infestation.

  • Dichlorovos evaporates in a very short time , in fact a lab owner explained that if it was found in a test by the time it was retested that it would no longer be found .. The controversial discussion about the safety of this in general has been argued relentlessly on the net , sad to say most people are not even educated upon the subject in the first place .​

one guy puts it on par with those products. Sure it's safer for the mites also.It doesn't get into the plant and stay there for 60 days like those 2 products, which is what is needed to rid them

Bought 2 no pest strips

Room is big but I think I can get temps up to 120 if no fan n humidifier n baseboard heat on.

How long does tempneed to be maxed? Should I use strips during heatwave? Or after?

N thanx for everyone offering clones n cuts but I'm good..I have a MN army to fill that room up when its clean..I can't afford forbid or other pricey concentrates. I had big outdoor plans but just gonna have to reload the innies with my stuff. I believe I figured out how this happened too. I been beating myself up the last week trying to figure where I went wrong n here it is.

4-5 weeks ago I stumbled upon new grow store in paw paw n bought few things...lady tells me her friend owned greenhouse n went under n had hundreds of various pits outside for free! So my cheap ass grabbed. 2 dozen n there it is. I didn't wash pots..figured nothing was gona survive an empty pot through winter.

I am not positive about your method, found this for bedbugs
