Brown/yellow tips of fan leaves - should I cut them off?

Some of my fan leaves have yellow/brown dryish tips. Overall the plants seem quite healthy.

Should I cut off these brown/yellow tips or should I just leave them and let them fall off naturally?

Also, if I DO cut them off - will the fan leaf keep growing or will cutting off the tip stop it from growing?

Let them naturally fall off, if the plant dose not want ia leaf it will reject it extracting remaining chem,hormones , and it will fall off.

Have you found the reason for the tips ? heat, nutes ???

As soon as they do fall off, clean it up! You can cut up to 50% of the blades off without ill effect. The problem with dead/dying leaves is it attracts pests so keep your garden clean at all times. If the leaf has been on the plant for several months, it may just be old. If that's the case, then you dont have anything to worry about. If they are new leaves then you might have, as stated in the post above, a pest problem, heat problem, or perhaps even over feeding. Finally, if you do cut the leaves they wont continue to grow but as long as you leave 50%+ of the leaf it will continue to go through photosynthesis.

if its really bad i would cut it, because if its unwanted the leaf may try to make it better and use all the nutes to do this and the rest of the plant will lack nuts and will suffer because of it, i cut my lower fan leaves off when/if they get really bad, and within a few hours the rest of the leaves perk up big time.

ok thanks for the info - I know there is no pests because they are in pots and I move them around all the time - I know there is no heat issues and I just started giving them nutes for the first time yesterday - I think most of the yellow tips are older fan leaves and they only in the lower sections - I am going to just leave them all in tact. thanks again

If it only on a few lower, its earlier damage maybe with in first 3 weeks grow.
