Brownish Spots starting spread

I am a newbie and here is a plant about 2 months old that seems to be having problems just recently (1 week). There are brownish spots, well the pictures show what I mean.

Living in Thailand we have 12 hour of sun all year around so I have been bringing the plant inside at 6pm to 12am to give it the extra 6 hours for a total of 18 hours. I have been using a CFM Osram 65watt = 250watts it says on the box.

I don't have a PH kit, the pool companies sell these kits that start at 6.5 PH, so I haven't purchased that. I read that the 'great white shark' seed should be 5.5 PH but could be wrong.

It is currently in soil mixed with rice and coconut chips and some potting soil. I put a little bit of bat guano on top, hope its not because of that.

I do have a hydroponic system I setup but I haven't tried it yet, was going to start with new plants and leave this in soil since it was growing fine up until this problem.

Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

did you check for insects. it looks either like insects drawn to the decaying rice in your medium. I only say that because it looks like little trails. it could also be nute burn or a high or low ph of your water.

Here is what you should do. Find out what type of water you're using did you ph your water correctly? make sure you are not over nuting and check for any insects. That's what I'd do. if it's none of them and it doesn't kill your plant, then don't worry about it. Plants sometimes get damaged on accident all the time and they do great.

chem dawg, i am a newbie and living in Thailand have no idea how to get any kind of spray since the bottles are written in Thai. Is there any way i can get rid of them by completely converting to hydroponics ? or does that shock a plant 2 months old ?

Neem or insecticidal soap it describes above, I don't know how to ask a garden shop about that, its not like I can bring a leaf in there, this is Thailand. Will try to tell people its a tomato plant or something ? Or convert to hydroponics if anyone recommends that will cure...i am getting emotionally attached to this plant after 2 months, hate to see my 'daughter' suffer.

you cant "convert" to hydro if youre already in soil...I did that same shit when i was like 16 and it killed my plant...just try to finish what you got, and your next grow try hydro

chem dawg, I think i found the stuff ! I just did a drench with the solution mixed with water and also sprayed the leaves that have been 'toasted'. Basically it should stop to spread to other leaves if working ? Thanks again, this site is a great source.

Going to try hydro with some sprouts in the next few days, my light could use another bulb and hopefully I can afford a LED sometime soon to replace the CFMs completely. I have an extra refrig, would love to convert to a secret grow space some day, since watching some youtube vids. Thanks again for the farmers on this site, very inspiring to keep going. Hopefully I can grow a green thumb instead of the computer thumb I have had all these years...

Wait a few days and see what is going on before you start altering things. Leaf damage happens. Water spots under the lights you tear a leaf working in the room. I couple of leafs that look bad do not merit any changes, just a watch to see what continues.

I bit of a confusing post snew, the only thing I altered was give the plant the medicine recommended by the above posts. I 'have watch to see what continues' for over a week. The leaves are being chewed up by some mites. I saw it spreading to other leaves and posted on this forum for advise. The mite problem seems to be common for other plants in Thailand and was verified by a farmer that I purchased the right stuff today. Hopefully this plant will survive and do me right with smoke. You do agree that I have a mite problem on that plant and should have flushed it with meds ? Thanks for all comments, again I am a newbie compared to the farmers on this site.

The other paragraph was just me rambling on about how much I would like to start new sprouts with hydro, which will be in the next few days.

I won't alter things with 'lucy' except in about one more week will stop bringing her inside for the additional 6 hours and that should force the flower stage ? Unless its a male then I will bum out...
