I am a newbie and here is a plant about 2 months old that seems to be having problems just recently (1 week). There are brownish spots, well the pictures show what I mean.
Living in Thailand we have 12 hour of sun all year around so I have been bringing the plant inside at 6pm to 12am to give it the extra 6 hours for a total of 18 hours. I have been using a CFM Osram 65watt = 250watts it says on the box.
I don't have a PH kit, the pool companies sell these kits that start at 6.5 PH, so I haven't purchased that. I read that the 'great white shark' seed should be 5.5 PH but could be wrong.
It is currently in soil mixed with rice and coconut chips and some potting soil. I put a little bit of bat guano on top, hope its not because of that.
I do have a hydroponic system I setup but I haven't tried it yet, was going to start with new plants and leave this in soil since it was growing fine up until this problem.
Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.
