thats a sick shirt man. n i like the AK shirt other than the Pink ak and wording i feel you on that. im going to be watch your TGA seeds closely i want to try some of subs seeds. thinking im guna get away from fem seeds i have seen tons of people, and it happened on my last grow as you know since i think you stopped by my old journal, that have been having them hermie with out any light leeks or other stress and you never know when they are going to hermie could be as late as wk 7. vs with regular seeds yea you have those wasted things (nutes,soil,water,energy effort and time). but once the males show and you get them out of there you can relax through the rest of flower.
 
I am gonna send the tude an email and tell them thanks and to send those type and not pink guns...lol My guns are stainless, black and camo...I sent them an email once when I messed up the order. Some english chick called me on my cell, made me hot, lol, and fixed my beans and all good...

I think after all these beans I am going regular...We will see after this run. I would like to get regular when I can. I am also going to super soil and 5 or 7 gal smart pots. I found a design for a auto drip system. I had one in my head so once I move and get set up I hope to cut down on the grind. Fewer bigger plants. I will used the dr150 for veg, get a dr240 for flower and use the wood cabs for drying bud. Maybe one day! lol

Concerned about my dual arc...sounds like the filiment is loose :fire:
it was packed GREAT, but the carboard support on the glass end was not on there in the original box. It shook in the box...For $214 they are going to replace it or there will be a thread to SMEAR them...lol Im sure they will have no problem with it...It got here in 4 days..:-P

Also the mh part looks used...idk never had a mh.

that does look used. i was wondering about the samething, my 600 w mh has the exactly the same brown burn type thing and i was wondering if it was normal cuz im pretty sure it formed after only a few hours of use, but it definately wasn't like that when i bout it new. but i would definately expect a new lamp. but im interested to see if anyone knows what that brown burn is from and if it effects the lamps performance at all b/c im fixing to be firing up my mh again when i get the tent her and i really dont want to have to by another bulb, as i only used this one for bout 6wks. but i can say that the bulb still works just don't know if it is prematurely burning out or maybe the browning is normal. sorry for being so long winded and redundant. and sorry i could be of any more help sl2

mine makes a lil noise too, like if I rotate it around the base axis 360 degrees it's like something is loose in there. I bought it at a local shop though... mine looked like that too when I bought it so I'm thinking they just test fire all the bulbs before the leave the factory. Works fine to this day, been like 5 months 12/12 now.

Yea that is it. When I rotate it 360 it sounds like the filament is broke or loose. Thanks that make me feel better, kinda lol I sent them an email with pics so I will see what they say. Maybe Ill end up with 2!!!! Sounds good to me!!!

Hey SG15 didnt you use FF nutes? When I put grow big in the water it had little dark bits floating. I never seen that before. I dump it out and mix up DG. So it may be all DynaGrow this round. From last grow the DG yeilded the same or better and I saw in some notes it seem I liked the DG weed better...

Anyway I gavem 1/2 dose tonight. Thay are really growing well. 4 weeks from seed tomorrow. Ill do an update...
 
Damn breaker blew last night. I found out whats all on that circuit. The basment outlet is wired into the living room lights and outlet. Damite son...lol Not sure how long they were off and it got down to 65 in the cab...If the heater comes on and I have the light on in the living room POW! I have a thermostat heat in there to keep the temps up at night. Just glad I found out now.

Talked with Hortilux this morning and they said the rattle was normal and they test fire all the bulbs...So I emailed the tech dept and ask if the shipping of the bulb with no support holding the glass end secure would effect life span or performance...we will see what they say...Havnt heard back from Growco yet...

dam hopefully that didnt stress the plants is seems like anything can cause femmed seeds to hermie so watch out. so then the browning on the MH bulbs after being used is normal i take it from the response you got from hortilux
 
They should be ok. 4 weeks today from seed. been on 24/7. It was there first darkness...

yea even new, Hortilux test fires all bulbs and that coloration in normal for mh...learn somthing new everyday...they said keep the receipt in case of any problems and they would take care of it...NICE

Ballast should be here by tomorrow. I am going to finish veg with the dual arc then go straight to flower...Im going to top some or all between the 2nd and 3rd node for 4 colas. Did it once and worked great but the plant was male...I just need them to get taller before the topping. After the topping I want them about 18". I want to clone the tops.
 
 
wow man. l;ookin great so far!! ive always wanted to try strawberry cough. hope that one turns out nice.. adn the Pineapple express... i bought 1 b4.. but it didnt germ.. =( very disappointed.. but wat can ya do? lol. oo well. once i get up sum money ll try both of those strains.. i cant wait for these babies to start flowering man.. your grows are always my FAV

5 weeks from seed on Thursday. All had 6 or more nodes. They are doing well and are a week ahead of schedule....gets better every time...:clap:

I topped between the 2nd and 3rd node. A couple of the plants nodes were so close I had to move up a to above the 3rd node but cut off the first first one. First time I used cloning gel so if it doesnt work I will blame that...lol I normally just use Dutch Master APS and I have had good luck rooting cloned tops in 6-10 days. I used both Clonex and APS so we shall see...I think I have 18 or so... :-P

As soon as they have recovered under the T5 they are going to finish veg under the 1k dual arc in the dr150 until 18" - 20". Damn that tent is big!!! lol

Stems on are bigger than a number 2 pencil...

I hate this (%R %$% picture loader. It fucks them all up out of order and I cant see the name on the pic. I had the before and after...So fuckit...Been try to load this shit for an two HOURS:fire:

The pic loader does blow... gets them out of order. Saves on upload time if you use paint or a similar program and resize the pics to 800 by 600 and then upload. It takes forever to upload fullsize pics and then the server has to resize them while timing out a bunch and making you want to shoot yourself in the face. Lol nice plants though, I take it the killowatt fired up fine for you?
 
hey sl2 im running a dr120 and in need of an oscillating fan. i saw the one in the pic of your last harvest in the box in your first post and that looks like what i need. is it oscillating? is it clip-on? im looking for something 6"-10". thanks for the help and by the way im growing bk from ghs only one of the two fem sprouted. along with 7 others and hopefully the two magus exile clippings i have will take.

I resize and crop them to same size. I like uploading a bunch at once, but it is the mixed up order that drive me nuts...I would not shoot myself...someone else...maybe lol

I went and got my "mad bag" and burn a bowl...Im good now :bigjoint: lol

Thanks SG15, it pained me to cut them off SOOOO low...lol They perked up in a couple hours and are kicking ass this morning. Looking forward to the four cola grow. Did it once before and the plant did great but was a male. One of the BK I left 6 just to see the diff in yeild.

They smell strong already. Filled the basement...Flowering is gonna be crazy!!!:weed:

I havnt tried the 1k yet. Hortilux and you eased my worries. I have to get the tent put together. Plan on doing it tomorrow and then they will finish veg under the 1k dual arc. :idea:

You mean flower right? lol Right now they are scheduled to start flower on Dec 6 but I want them around 18" so whenever the reach that I will start and and up pot to 3 gal for flowering...:leaf:

They are 6" 2 speed air kings. They dont oscolate. I am looking for a small oscolating fan now and if I find one Ill let you know. They can wind burn and dry out leaves on small plants it not careful. They are fine on larger ones. They dont blow real hard. I have this 12" one and it works great. Has a spining louver and oscolates, 3 speed and you can set the degree of oscolation. It is just too big for my 4x4 cab. I hope to use it in the dr150.
