We will have to see what they taste like when they are dried,i reckon this stuff will need to be cured well before i smoke any amount of it:blsmoke:

looking like some very tasty bud right there, congrats on the great grow boss.
Smoking some right now, dried, but uncured, still smokable though.
Very far away in my own planet kind of smoke, still tastes and smells a lil harsh.
Not so crappy and harsh that im not reaching for some more already:mrgreen:
Overall both are nice smokes and good yielders, but both need more resin and a bit more fruityness to them, for my personal tastes anyway.

I think i will cross them with hashberry, then backcross them again with bubblegum and see what comes out and then go on from there with some lavender from soma seeds that was brought to my attention by fdd.

Anyway the next grow will be exclusively the ppp x blueberry x triploid male, which strangely enough i seem to have 2 pheno types from the same seed batch.
One is very sour and diesely and one is very fruity and sweet, basically two opposite smelling plants with an only slightly different looking structure, yet from the same batch of seed, weird huh, such huge differences anyway:confused:

I will make a new thread for the new grow in about 4-5 weeks time and i will carry on adding pics of the seedling to weedling and the outside stragglers from the badly lit edges of the room into this thread for anyone thats interested.
As soon as that lot is all finished i will clean up and start the new seeds and boldly go where many have probably been before cause out here we is stoned:blsmoke:

hey Natmoon. that is really an oddity eh...to have such a vast difference within that same group of seeds. I realize it not at all the same...but it reminded me of when we would breed a stallion to a mare, year over year, and how different each foal was ... structurally, temperament, ability to learn, moods, etc. and the same is so true in families. moms and dads that have multiple kids and all are so different - from the exact same genetics ...well not complete as a result of unique recombination .... one of the true wonders of life.

that's actually my question? - are the individual seeds in a bud or bud to bub comparison individual and unique combinations of genetic material (like say faternal twins?) or are they like identical twins and have exactly the same genetic materials - even so, I have known a variety of identical twins that have markedly different characteristics - despite their "pheotypical identicality"...like bevaiour, tastes, ways of thinking...etc.

cool stuff man...I keep watching your posts...I'm learning...

Yes there is genetic variety in every single seed. No seed is the same as another just like people.

Although both sets of genes have to come from both sets of parents. So if the plants are of the same strain, it will have the genetic make-up from both sets of parents... meaning that it will be pretty much the same.

Although with genetic diversity present in all strains we are often surprised when one of the seeds comes out looking like great grandad, so to speak... or great uncle charlie... i'm sure you get my point.

I dont know the exact science behind any of this so i cant really comment.
So far i have never seen such a drastic variation before.

I think it is possible that maybe the original plant possibly may have produced 1 or 2 of its own seeds and all though not a hermie sometimes you do find the odd seed on a plant,on the other hand though it may well be just be a drastic genetic variation.

Right now i am hoping to end up with sweet and sour types of virtually the same plant in all reality.
The sour does not go red and is hard, solid prickly hard.
The sweet goes reddy, pinky colour and is much softer, but still prickly.:blsmoke:

I think its likely that its greatgrandma as its so sour lol,or the original plant made a couple of its own seeds and they got mixed up with all the other seeds.
I am excited about these new seeds and what odditys i may see,not to mention the fact that i am hoping its going to be some strong shit:blsmoke:

That all depends how big you want them to be really.
You can flower them straight from seed but they will obviously be smaller at the end.
You can flower them whenever you like really but it would seem that most people prefer to begin flowering after the first appearance of preflowers whilst still in the veg cycle:blsmoke:

LOL.
It is some of the strongest shit ive ever smelt, the kind of bud that is so crystallized you can pick a piece right of the plant and smoke it without even drying it,tastes like crap still, but it does burn because its so crystallized and resinous that it holds little water in the first place.
So granny is here to stay lol:mrgreen:
