Nice layout of the time lapse pictures. My girls are at day 45 now and I'm biting my nails, so I'm sure you are probably eating fingers (lol). Try and get some real closeup's on some buds to show the trich's, etc. Check my thread "Airee Update" pictures which I only had my cell phone. So, I put the cell into pictures mode over top of a magnifying glass. Not as good as a camera, but you will get the idea. Excellent grow bud! Keep us posted throughout weighing. Rock on...

What you need to do is get the camera lense so it completely fills the frame...and even closer so that only part of the bud is seen in the frame. Also, take you pictures so that they are pointing a little downward. That way, you can see the tops of the leaves too. WORD - :weed:

a couple different things actually

i start with dyna-grow bloom in low doses with bcuzz bloom and bcuzz grow
after about week 3 i switch to fox farms beasti blooms i run floralicious plus and pro tek throught the cycle i don't run a complete chemical grow i just use the chemical to supplement what the organics don't give i also use bio bud and big bud with calmag and aqua shield i make a microbe tea to kick my microheard into over drive at the start of flower (zho powder, earthwarm castings, aquashield, and 1 tbl of molasses to wake them up) a plus with the way i do things is i can continue to feed i don't need to flush you can't flush the organic amendments out of the pot

now im sure someone is going to have something to say about the way i do things but its works for me iv tried it every way under the sun you have your way i have mine happy growing:bigjoint:

i grow in coco i was running low on coco this time around so i just mixed it with some soil and some perlite to stretch it out

miracle grow is bad news man you know why its called miracle grow right? because its a fucking miracle your plants grow in that shit :)

you can start feeding whenever you like man just start with a low ppm :weed:

haha i never heard of that one its a miracle they will grow, so should i get some better soil and transplant, maybe foxfarm soil, or sub super soil, i just didnt have no money at the time and since i mixed in manure, perlite and vermiculite i thought that would be good, but im going to get better soil, Thanks

mg might work the problem is the moister control crap and the time release crap already has nutes and its general purpose soil. we need it for a specific purpose :) if there has been no ill effects yet i would just let it go just feed lighter and ph a little higher like 6.8

next crop i highly recommend coco choir someone turned me on to it years ago and iv never turned back it tends to dry out fast under hids so i put a layer of hydroton on topDSCI0047.jpg see the hydroton under the plant it keeps the lights from drying the coco out too fast and you can reuse the hydroton just rinse it off

you can make a mix with it if you like. i might do what i did this crop again like 1 parts soil 1 parts perlite 3 parts coco, next time i might add some sand just to spread it out a little rehydrating those blocks can be a pita, what was i saying.. oh yea coco is really somthing else its light and fliffy like well shit i can't think of a comparison but it doesn't get crusty like soil does when its dry so roots love it a couple crops ago i was using coco in airpots man they grow over night like hydro i couldn't believe it.

you can actually get blocks of coco cheaper then dirt some places a block is like 15g whereas a bag of soil is like 3g the last blocks i bought were on sale at a local store for 10$ i fed the clerk some bs about how i could get them cheaper on line (i acutally thought i could get them cheaper at the time but i was looking at bricks not blocks lol) so he gave them to me buy 1 get 1 free so i walked out of the store with 30 gallons of coco for 10 bucks thats like 150 bucks in soil needless to say i havent needed to buy coco in awhile :)

If you want something cheap and available in regular stores try Red Lava Rock. They are porous and really fill up the pot. I usually put them in the bottom and go with an organic soil mix on top. I use inexpensive top soil mixed with the veg compost from the dinner table and some leave mulch. The sand really helps it drain and of course some ashes from the fire plus left over clippings from rolling. I guess anything else would help as long as you don't use too much of one item. Try Alaska Fish Fertilizer as it's real cheap and a liquid. I hate spending money too.

Just leave it since they are doing good man.
All 3 in my thread are in MG with about 40% MG perlite.

And there looking good 2 bro.. ;) I just have had bad grows everytime I have used MG in the past (10 yrs) or so.. that's been the last time I ever used anything MG! That's the big reason I started mixing my own soil... was tired of seeing my ladies go yellow have way through the grow, or other def! They did ok I guess. I just leave the MG to the garden now.. haha

* on a side note, how ya been bro :??: hadn't herd from you, just wanted to make sure everythings good yourway.. give me a hollar sometime bro..

Dank

Thanks on all the feed back fellas, for right now its ok but i think they should be a little bit bigger for 3 weeks i think im going to try out some TGA supersoil, been doing alot of research and that shit looks great, only downside u got to mix and let set for a month so it can come alive, im a hydro man myself but i like the idea of pots so much more conveniant, you can leave them for 4 days dont have to constantly check ph and top of rez, u can move them around which i like that idea alot, and on top of it all the taste is so much better, idk ill let everybody know how i make out, Thanks for all the info Bigworm

I hear that.. yeah, like said MG was a big reason why I started making my own soil mix! I call it Danks black gold! Haha.. I let it sit for atleast 20 to 30 days, just to make sure everything broke down. I had added the worm bed in there, and I can see a huge diffrence in all the girls! I also mix in all sorts of other ingrediants aswell. I ran DWC for awhile, and just couldn't get the hang of it! Lol.. I guess that where I've been growing in soil for so long. And just got use to that method.. ;)

yea same man i like hydro i just could never really get the hang of it the plants grow 3x as fast so i would like to

soil works tho if life is busy its not as high maintenance as hydro

I hear that. Yeah, as many strains that I run it would take a shit ton of the DWC systems to contain all these girls! I need to expand! Lol.. if and when I do, I was thinking about running plain all pvc along one wall & doing my own hydro system that way. 1 day maybe. Until then I guess I will stick to my soil/organic grows.. ;)
