I got my strips from solstrip.com
Based in the US so duty to the UK was a fair amount. But if you're stateside the prices are good. They also do kits. Strips are the way to go if you're low on height. They sit at 30cm above the canopy. I'll have to lift my light when I use the cobs. (They're basically gonna be my midday sun) but not until I add co2.

I actually flip tonight 9pm to 12/12 on these sunshine daydream. I got around an inch of growth yesterday. I didn't even expect these kind of results. My smaller plant (helmet) affectionate name as it kept a lid on for about a week explaining the size difference. General mutation. These are reg seed too so I may well end up with 3 males yet. Got enough beans to crack on as I need to anyway so no panicking.

I have a single IR led camera mounted to my light so can see what's going on day and night too. Single IR seemed the best option as distance wise I can't see that light registering too much.

My goodness those plants are looking like they are loving life

If only you would have seen them like a week before. Dire. New environment so it's taken some dialling in mate. Think I'm starting to get there now. Ended up with 2 males in my room so running a single ssdd female now.

Here is your cheap led. Just get the highest lumens you can, and get the right K for whatever stage.
I'm running 60 of these in a 4x4. It's like the cfl of led. My setup is around 900w and 90,000 lumens (it changes based on what I want. I have 800 lumen 9w bulbs, and 1600 lumen 17w bulbs). That's also with the diffusers on, and I take them off for a more focused light. That has to deliver more lumen on a tighter area, imo.
I pick up these in 5000k and 2700k for $1 a bulb at the ReStore.
