That's it mate! I prefer to have slightly too much N just before flowering than yellow leaves. Least you know where you stand. Stick em on plain water for a feed and it all balances out.

Makes sense! Cheers, I wasn't aware of the canna mono range until you brought it up. I do like my canna range. I wouldn't mind a bit of tinkering. Maybe I will drop the PK13-14 and try some monos in different ratios.

Gain more experience before hand read up on it I also have canna mono mag n flowering high potassium is qhat u want in pk but I add it late say a 8 week strain id hit her at week 5-5.5 as its the last few weeks she gets fat

Im actually switching to SHOGUN nutes next better ratio imo n a mate that used her loved it but their Calmag iant as good as rhe Calmag+ I ise which is needed with cobs

Yeah, I have been reading a lot about raw salts of late. I have a good chunk of grows under my belt. But that said I have always followed a schedule and stuck to a few strains. Never gone far wrong following the schedule but you don't gain experience from following blindly if you get my drift.
Its all food for thought. The hows and whys interest me now as much if not more than the end result did when I first started.
Hope that makes sense, I'm shite at conveying my point.

I don't get the pre charging it, as in when it comes with nutrients added, the point of coco is you have control over what you put in.
But giving it a good dose of calmag before hand is worth it, at least when its brand new.
