Looking good. What do you think the cause of the yellow tips is?
It was beginning of deficiencies. What u couldn’t see in the pics were all the yellow leaves down low before I cleaned it up and gave build a bloom. Something is up with bubba kush. Buds are forming a little strange compared to last go with it. I didn’t give any craft blend or build a bloom cause it looks nitrogen hot already. The 2 - 15 gallon pots stopped the yellowing and growing leaf tips after the craft blend and build a bloom

I was guessing K toxicity or light burn. Mine have that right now too. It appeared after I top dressed. I was thinking it was the langbeinite that I added to it, but I also turned up the lights at the same time as I top dressed.

I've seen it before too. It'll be fine, but I was curious what you though your yellowing was from.

Yeah I had been watching it happen and it was before any added top dress besides just the build a soil top dress I did which wouldn’t cause any toxicity. Mine was definitely from deficiencies as I overloaded the 15 gallon pots with the scrog I did. They needed a boost and got all their color back besides the tips and edges that got a little to faded

This is even after getting a lot of its color back. It was getting way worse everyday until top dress and build a bloom. Now everything is green again except the ones that got got bad like these few I left

Not light burn as it had been fine all the way till about week 5 ish on flower and the yellow started. The other 3 plants didn’t get the same problem and all the same height. Kind of the big giveaway it wasn’t light burn
Ya, I didn't think it was light burn on mine either even though I did turn them up.

Now I'm thinking the K blast might have made some of the other nutrients harder for the plant to access. Just don't know which one since it can cause issues with a bunch of nutes.

Thanks.

yeah sometimes too much K can lockout other nutrients but kinda hard to do unless u just blasted them with a ton. Have u tried Recharge? It can help with lockout and nutrient access for plants. And usually with potassium it will burn rather than lockout which isn’t always a bad thing unless it’s have fried all the leaves. And if not that then it may be ur light if u just turned it up. I try to do it a little bit every other day till I’m where I want.

Never used Recharge, but I do have microbes I add sometimes. Actually tonight I was already planning on watering with yucca, Bio Righteous, and Mykos WP.

I also adjust the light slowly when I actually adjust them. I did bump up the wattage by like 50 watts in the 2x4 at once this time, but I also tied them down, and they were'nt really getting that much more light since my lights are over 3 ft above them.

I would try some of the Recharge stuff also as it wouldn’t hurt anything. It seemed to help my plants all around. But yeah at 3 ft above plants your not gonna get light burn. My Mars Hydro TSW 3000 is at about 24 on inches at 80% power. It’s hitting around 900 on ppfd which is max I want without CO2 in flower

Ya. My first thought was that it was because of the langbeinite. Just counting all the possibilites.

It may be the light but ur soil does look a little dry in the 15 gallon pots. How often u water and how much?

This is ur issue if u are not in flower and adding to much P and K. U need heavy N during veg. I can tell u have a lot of P and K cause of the deep blueish green tint. U will be fine just back off the PK boosters till about week 4

I know, it does look like that. The top is a little dry and they will like the yucca they get tonight. My soil could use more wetting agent to combat the hydrophobia of the old peat. But the top is also kinda my mulch layer. I haven't added more rice hulls yet though.

You're right about needing to bump up the N. I keep forgetting about how easy it offgasses. I just gotta stay on top of shit this time. Great to hear your thoughts.

Your plants in the 15 gallon pots look very healthy though. Small pots deft need some nitrogen added for sure. Fish compost is high in nitrogen if you are just wanting too dress but there are lots of organic fertilizer options out there for sure. But fish compost tea will do a lot for veg state growth.
