the day your post 1 PIC of a DECENT SETUP.. youll get props but your all talk and showed me 1 plant with all kinds of problems. my hats off to you. but my grow is still bigger and better ass.
You're a complete moron. You're the opposite ofwho this site needs/wants. Congrats loser, you scrummaged an amazing sum of TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS to buy a prefab system which may or may not be better than tip top's who wasn't saying his was better but that it was more cost effective lol. I wias probably making more money at 15 years old than you do now. You've prob invested tops 1500 dollars into your grow, wowwie that's mighty professional of you sir! A whole 600 watt setu! You're big time bro!!!!!!!!

......just walked in here and can see I dont want to go back and read the drama......

BUT, my 2 cents says you can not replicate GH's AF........right out of the box. No EZ Clone spray tip, spinners or whatever replicate the lazer drilled lines they sell in the GH AF's---it's all in how the spray contacts the the side of the channel in regards to the nft depth that is the key to these. And these lines can be replaced at $10 ea. If you so much as use a tack to clean a hole out it will spray too much solution; albeit, it will still work fine. I 've been running my af for 3 years straight now, after trying to replicate it with diy crap. Yeah, you can build them more stout in most aspects, but it's not even necessary, I 've come to find out. The worse thing about these systems is the spacing on the sites---so I skip every other one.

If you can afford it, you cant beat it, IMHO. The way I look at it, every two plants I harvest pays for the thing over and over.........

I am surprized aeroking hasn't been here already---but then again, I didn't read the thread.

Great Luck to the OP!

yea, i dunno but i wouldnt pay $200 for any prebuilt system when diy can net you something a lot nicer... heres my dwc res for a 2x600w setup, and my bubble cloner, both in coolers (thanks boomer btw), and both id prefer over prefab... rawbudski, you gotsta chill man, it aint that serious kid... prefab is kind of a waste in my opinion unless you really dont have time time, or have frivolous money to spend. though ive yet to see prefab systems with coolers, and i gotta have coolers...

Self inflating miss picture of some broad ina tanktop. This isn't Facebook trick your trying too hard.

wow what a self inflating douche haha. "mine is better and im pro status, look i got my name on my head, sooo pro"

seriously grow up. Its not the system that makes the grow, its the person behind it. My first grow with a rainforest 66("professional" system, aero, $$, etc) was total and complete crap because i thought i knew what i should do and it turned out i didn't. I had/have a ph meter, ppm meter, res meter, was testing co2 with disposable meters, temp/humidity, the end result was such trash i didnt even finish my journal because of the shame haha.

spend all the money you want, but an awesome grower can still grow equal with half. not entirely true with lights, watts = $ to some degree and watts = yield. although some of the really good growers do some pretty amazing things with a 400w scrog setup.

In all honesty if you want to be technical, i think single dwc buckets offer a lot to growing. They are transportable for easy perpetual grows. They isolate each plant allowing for individual tailoring of nutrients and isolation of problems should the arise, this is way more important if you are growing multiple strains or from seed(different phenos) as each plant will have different needs, clones are more similar though. You can turn each dwc bucket and rotate them for better light coverage and different angles. DWC buckets allow for expansion if you want to later go to a vertical or stadium setup.

And really, its not a competation. Both systems can produce the same prime bud. Measuring height, stem thickness, and yield is a crap compariosn. Different strains, veg times, and prefrences dictate those traits, not the buckets. Get over yourself and stop trolling

I have the most ghetto set-up of them all and at $50, it performs as well as anything on the market that costs 10x more.

If your system, ghetto or not, is supplying your plants with what they need, then you've done your job.

I get good results using 5 gallon Sport coolers...Plus the res temps stay on point if you cant afford a chiller..

considering your experience at both indoors & hydro i would seriously consider the waterfarm & a 1000w hps. light with a spectricaly ''blue'' enhanced bulb , get a few grows under your belt, get a strain you like ,learn to clone , i might be getting ahead of myself as you might already know all this but any way thats just my 2 cents worth good luck whatever you decide on

its funny how you can ask a question and then no one answers it----- YES it would be cheaper to make your own HOWEVER i am under the impression your looking for a pre-made system. www.cch20.com (they make under current dwc models set up for both horizontal and vertical lighting in either 8 or 13 gallon buckets.)

man, as soon as i saw that guy whip out the tape measure.... and went through the trouble of taking pics and all that.... GET A JOB

That system out preforms a walmart DWC setup.. the pump is 1200 gph.. that cant be bought at walmart.. 18gal Hard black plastic. better quality than Rubber maid.. and the AIRSTONE IS CUSTOM.. CANNOT BE BOUGHT from walmart so your wrong.. This 200 price is well worth it
ARe u just makeing stuff up or what man.

They dont advertise as it being 1200 gph where did you get that from, and anyone can build that unit for 60 bucks and those lights are worthless.

Everything can be bought at lowes they have tons of those rare extra durable hard black plastic containers u speak of.
