Ok i've been reading about paint ball c02, which made me think of posting this...

ok it's made out of a soda stream and an auto bug sprayer.
it's all auto. starts when light's go on due to a senser in bug sprayer.
can be set to spray from 1min to 45min interfulls.

down side is that bottles are small.

not much more to say apart from i cant spell and here's sum pic's

great idea! id give you rep if i knew how, are noobs even able to hand it out?

we need to get someone with a co2 monitor to get an idea of what sort of intervals are needed to maintain some sort of reasonable ppm

also curious as to what people do regarding the fans being when the lights are on, maybe i might have this housed in a box connected to the end of the inlet ducting, so the cube effectively breathes the co2

any idea on how many sprays these co2 cannisters last for?

at the time i run this setup i had a cool tube running and venting fans on a termosat, had no idea on what the ppm was, all i know is i got bigger better buds,

have now gone to a 5kg co2 bottle on a timer and fans on timers:fire:

What does the system run you cash wise? Also is this soda stream stuff just co2, or did you modify the bug sprayer system to accept a paint ball co2 canister?

What does the system run you cash wise?,,,what do u mean?

Also is this soda stream stuff just co2,just co2

or did you modify the bug sprayer system to accept a paint ball co2 canister?well that all depends on canister, but if the pin valve is the same it would just fit st8 in.

The bug sprayer push's a hammer and hits the top of soda steam system.

you have to turn off exhaust/intake while injecting co2. also a oscilating fan is a good idea to move the co2 around the room. co2 is heaiver than o2 and will stay on the ground.

I mean, How much did it cost your to buy the bug spray setup, and how much to keep it going... Meaning how much does it cost for 2 months worth of use. How many soda streams would you go through. That is what I mean

If ur room is setup right and u are using the right nut's and the enviroment is totally controled u don't need Co2! I went and bought everything for it and had it running and didn't see shit! Once I got all my other stuff under control my buds doubled in size, some people will tell u that it helps and others say it doesn't! I hope it works for u but on my end it was A waste of money...

Those systems are small and expensive if given at the proper levels. You'll need pretty warm temps to get the benefits of Co2 and only if given in proper amounts with minimal exhaust. Not recommended for closet type growers.

yes thats why i have a 5 kg bottle and reg/solenoid valve also cool tube.plus heat pump.

you say warm,,,,what about the rest?light feed humidity all has to be 100% to get the best benefits, and the benefits i got from running this little thing was the money to up grade my system!

IF YA DONT TRY YA DONT WIN!

There are more than one way to skin a cat, and that was the way i skinned that cat,,(9 mounths ago):wall::wall::wall::wall:

For those that want to go the co2 way or any way is read and listen, and dont take anyones word as being right,,,do it your way and find out for yourself,,,,,,,,,,,dont do the monkey see monkey do!

Co2 is only benificial at high temp like 85-90! I have A sealed room with A monitor, regulator, 20# bottle and A seperate co2 injection fan! I am doing better with out the Co2, my buds are great now with out it!

so if it's a sealed room, how do u control temps/humidity, via?a/c, heatpump? or do u vent? if your venting via an exhust is that a sealed room?

"my buds are great now with out it!" is that due to less co2 in there root zone?
