i got5 san pedro growing :) not even an inch tall but its only been a few months a few of them have turned red and got sun burn't lmfao its ok tho cause they are still thriving :)

that has 7 ribs and the spines look like they are spaced about an inch apart. is it possible for a san pedro to have 6 ribs?

a close friend of mine gave me around 9 total feet of cactus and im pretty sure its san pedro but not sure enough haha.
ill take some pics and post em in about an hour when i get home but they are nice cacti none the less =) the ribs on mine dont look
like they protrude as much as the ones in that pic tho so im not sure....

here are those pics.. its only one 8 in cutting and i have much larger ones
but this should be enough for a good id.

how sure are you?
all the san pedros ive seen have light spines and these ones are pretty dark.
any thoughts?

even the spines in your pedro pic are way lighter then the ones on mine.
mine are pretty much black spines and very small.

I'd eat it, nothing to loose.... remember to save and root a wedge....

This picture illustrates the ribs thing, count ribs on mom, and on pup.....

im not sure on this but wouldnt tasting some be a valid way to test its activity??? just an assumption based on the fact that mescaline containing cacti are bitter.
