No just do what you were doing transplanting ..it will give it some shock...but a good rule of thumb is if your leaves are growing over the side of smaller pot it's best to transplant until you get to your final size

Thanks, I couldn't find any pots so I just got three cashew containers and burned 5 holes on each container for water to leak out. They seem to be half gallon containers and are a big improve my over the cups.

I also used .07 teaspoon of miracle grow all purpose plant food mixed with a quarter of a gallon of water as a temporary nutrient source for the magnesium deffiency while I wait for the real stuff to be shipped in.

image.jpg I know miracle grow is a terrible fertilizer but the brown seems to spread even more.
There's even a little brown and yellow on one leaf on my second plant.

I wouldn't worry adding anything until it bounces back from transplant and need to cover that with duct tape or something roots don't like light
