Cali Connections Blue Dream Haze

LOL. Painful. How many days and under how many watts. I'm going to check my roots to see just how full my bags are at the end. Maybe we try smaller bags or pots and more plants. ;-)
A super SOG. 3" pots with 8 plants per square foot. LOL.
Everybody wants faster plants but this is crazy.
 
Wow these things really don't amount to much. I'm just waiting to see how well mine perform in these hempy buckets. They seem to be filling out really nice. Hydro does have an advantage over soil with yield.

OK,Doc how about some update pics? Would really like to see someone make this strain work. My hairs are changing faster than the ones on my head are falling out.
 
Here's mine at 4 weeks flowering. She's smelling just like starbursts.

Looks good. Def different than mine in that yours seems to have some purple in it. Had you topped it? Seem to see several kolas in the background? I've never grown hempy. Had such good luck since I went coir I'm afraid to try anything else.
 
Sparce, I have 6 2liters of blue dream haze topped. The reside on the lower left side of my tent and are holding up nicely. It does have a little purple in the top of the colas. They are filling out nice and yes, the smell of starburst is unreal. Smells like the lemon or cherry starburst. Green ghost, what is the high like?
 
the high is all head but that was with no cure. this time ill be curing a week before i sample. i expect a real nice headrush like headband gives me, makes me feel lie i have a headband on lol also happy cheery high before...
 
5 weeks flowering tomorrow and all the hairs are turning brown already. Greenghost, I seem to have the same pheno you have, but my tops are all turning blueish / purple. Temps for me are getting down to 60F at night which may have something to do with it. All in all, guessing genetic issues since the fast flowering is not normal by any means. She better swell up a little more soon.
 
yea, these def arent s1 of the original in my opinion. i hope yours is a nice yielder! the quality is nice for sure...keep an eye on the triches
 
Day 50 and she's done. I believe that's what Greenghost had. I'm going to let her set in the dark a couple of days before trimming but 90% cloudy, 5% amber, and 5% clear which I guess is about what you expect from a haze...........I guess. Anyway all the hairs save maybe 6 or seven are a beautiful golden color. If this had been a normal plant I wouldn't plan on that many hairs to have turned.
I'll weigh wet after the trim and post my results. Such a resinous wonderful plant with such a shity yield.
Funny we all seem to want plants that finish faster but when we have a low yield we don't like it. I would be happy with an Indica finishing this soon, let alone a haze.
Oh well

Wow 5 weeks? And she's beautiful! Don't see any health or abuse problems. Is that 5 weeks FTF (from the flip) or in bud. I hate that we have two ways of counting days. Has anyone else noticed that this strain seems to show flowers sooner? It seems to me that mine have first signs 3-5 days after the flip, it's crazy.
 
She's 5 weeks of 12/12. I never really count veg anymore. I gave them two weeks and a topping and they responded well. Im gonna let her go another week of feeding before I flush and let her devour her leaves. Just hasn't filled out like other strains. This could be the best smoke on the world, but I'm letting her die after harvest. Real estate is expensive in my tent:

Went to check on the girls tonight, and noticed a fucking white-ish nanner poppin out of one the Blue Dream clones. To quarantine they go! I'm not risking this testing in with a bunch of dank. Fuck that! So at almost 6 weeks flowering, she's getting the chop. I'll have pics of the suspected nanner and whatnot, but she's coming down!
 
Man that sux. Just so sad. Hope you manage to salvage something out of them. Seeds? Lol. Guess that's not really funny. Usually those nanners are yellow though so keep your fingers crossed.

Well, what I signed in for. My wet weight is 126g. Roughly 126 x .20 = 25.2 g. So more than an oz. less than what I would have expected with this setup with normal strains. She's hanging now and with my low humidity problems she will be dry in 3 or 4 more days..............then the cure. I'll keep you posted on the final weights. I have one more in a 3 gal bag under 600 watts but have decided the other I was going to put in next has been benched and I am going with an Ice that I can trust. It's mom is 2.5 years old and rock solid.
