I see a demonization of people who are in the mmj business on this thread...allow me to play devils advocate.....god forbid...what if they are in the industry? This could potentially fuck up a lot of people...... If they do indeed keep rec & 215 seperate....with patients being able to keep things they way theyve been, than great.......but what are the odds?
Yall remember when washington agreed to legalize the first time but treid sneaking in that wild ass dui bill to go along with it?
The state will try to make up for its lost money in the prison system 1 way or the other. Prisoners are too big of business to lose a big chunk of.

- Cancer
- Anorexia
- AIDS
- Chronic pain
- Cachexia
- Persistent muscle spasms, including those associated with multiple sclerosis

The CA bill up for the vote in November keeps medical and legalizes recreational use as we now have in Oregon. In my state of Oregon, growers now have a larger market to sell into. There isn't a downside here.

First off, marijuana is a very effective medicine for many people. If you use it, even just because you like to use it, that is a medical reason for using a beneficial drug.
Second, the AUMA will not have any negative affect on medical patients, it will actually enhance some of the provisions of Prop 215.
Third, and this is important, people are still getting busted for marijuana in California. The pigs are still busting in doors of homes and businesses, even for legal patients and legal businesses!
Hopefully AUMA will pass, and some of the sadistic shit being pulled by the pigs will stop.

The people who oppose legalization are financially invested in the prohibition premium of cannabis. There is nothing intrinsically more valuable in cannabis than in tomatoes and geraniums. Anybody can learn to grow cannabis and produce it for the cost of water and fertilizer.
