indoor plants are the ones that are really sensitive to light during their dark periods, I go out with my flashlight all the time to check on my plants, my porchlight stays on and the light does reach my plants sort of, and I take pics at night too
and no ur not an ass for thinking that, I used to think that too, then fdd told me his porchlight stays on too and shines on his plants and it doesnt hurt at all...and my plants are budding perfect even though that have had light hit them during night....so, seems safe lol

i live in one of the most light polluted places in cali n the grow is near a street lamp with no ill effects. flowering just fine.
